증상
어제 타이어 펑크가 발생했습니다. 타이어 숍(Costco Tire Center)을 방문했더니 담당자가 제 차량(Honda Accord 2002)에 부적절한 등급의 타이어를 장착했다고 지적했습니다. 차량은 V 레이팅이 필요한데 H 레이팅 타이어가 장착되어 있었습니다. 이전에 Sam's Club에서 타이어를 교체했을 때는 스피드 레이팅에 대해 언급이 없었습니다. Costco 담당자는 낮은 스피드 레이팅의 타이어는 사이드월이 약해서 펑크 위험이 높다고 설명했습니다.
처리 내용
Costco의 정보는 이론적으로는 맞습니다. 예를 들어 T 레이팅(시속 118마일) 타이어를 독일에서 시속 140마일로 주행하면 타이어가 과열되어 손상될 수 있습니다. 그러나 귀하의 경우 플랫 타이어(이물질 관통)로 인한 펑크입니다. 떨어진 타이어의 트레드 부분, 손상 영역, 밸브 스템을 점검하면 초기 공기 손실의 원인이 된 펑크 위치를 발견할 수 있을 것입니다.
