증상

타이어 공기압 문제. 올바른 공기압일 때는 전체 트레드가 지면에 접촉하고, 공기압이 낮으면 타이어 가장자리가 지면에 접촉하여 측면이 마모되며, 공기압이 높으면 트레드 중앙만 지면에 접촉하여 중앙이 마모된다.

처리 내용

타이어 마모 패턴은 제조사의 사이드월 강화 방식과 트레드 아래 벨트의 연결 방식에 따라 달라진다. 오프로드용 타이어(낮은 공기압에서 오프로드 주행, 정상 공기압에서 온로드 주행용), 넓고 낮은 울트라 고성능 타이어, 높은 측면의 표준 승용차 타이어는 공기압 부족이나 과다 상태에서 동일한 특성을 보이기를 기대해서는 안 된다. 각 타이어의 설계 특성에 따라 다르게 반응한다.
