My 2015 Elantra with 130K miles has developed a problem It stalls occasionally, and then the Tachometer goes to 0 and stays there even after I restart the car. After it stalls, it then hesitates and loses power, almost like it is the wrong gear and the tachometer never moves from 0 even while driving. . If i pull over and then restart it after just a couple of minutes, the problem clears up. No more hesitation, the tachometer reads the RPM, etc. The mechanic can’t find anything wrong with it. Did a complete computer scan of something like 11 systems and no problems are indicated. HELP. I love

Technician A says that an electric motor-driven vacuum pump may quit pumping if the low vacuum switch fails. Technician B says an engine-driven vacuum pump can quit pumping if the low vacuum switch fails. Who is right? (A) A only. (B) B only. (C) Both A and B. (D) Neither A nor B. This is in regard to a 2002 Daewoo Lanos with the 1.6L engine and automatic transmission. It currently has 91800 miles on it. My car always has a slight miss at idle, and if I am stopped for a while with my foot on the brake, it gets a lot worse, and the engine shakes violently, but smooths out when I take my foot off the brake. Whether I leave the transmission in gear, or shift it into “P” or “N”, the same thing happens–after idling for about a minute with my foot on the brake, the engine runs really rough, and taking my foot off the brake lets it smooth out. Here’s the backstory, For the past 3 months, upon shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, the car lurches forward in a hard shift. Sometimes, it is nothing more than a benign “clunk”, and other times it is violent, as if hitting a wall. This does not happen every time it shifts and even under identical acceleration, the results vary from none to violent. The number of violent shifts vs. small jolts has increased over time, and all other transmission functions and shifts are fine/normal. I PURCHASED A TOYOTA CAMRY ON 2/17/20. TWO WEEKS LATER THE SRS AIRBAG MALFUNCTION LIGHT STARTED TO ILLUMINATE AND THE REAR SEATBELT ALARM CONTINOUSLY SOUND OFF ALERTING ME TO FASTEN SEATBELTS WHEN NO ONE WAS SITTING BACK THERE. MY CAR WILL RANDOMLY STALL AFTER DRIVING SEVERAL HOURS ON THE FREEWAY AND SOMETIMES WILL NOT START UP. I AM CONCERNED THAT IT WILL STALL WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY LEADING TO A CRASH. ON SEPTEMBER 29TH 2020 AT 7:20PM EST THE 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY DID NOT WANTED TO START EVEN AFTER PUSHING THE BREAK AND START BUTTON SEVERAL TIMES. Hi all, I am new here and have a question. About 3 weeks ago, I purchased a 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe, automatic transmission with 131,000 on it. Good evening. I got something I hope someone can help me out with. My son’s 2014 Jeep Patriot had the transmission replaced recently, and ever since there has been a noise that he hears whenever he starts to accelerate, when he slows to a stop, and whenever the transmission shifts. He took it back to the shop that replaced the transmission, they put another one in, and the noise persists. Then they thought maybe it was a CV shaft, but even after that the noise is still there. 2012 Jeep Compav compass I noticed a persistent squealing coming from thr front end of my car (I think the front left). It happens when I have my foot on the accelerator and over 40-45 mph. It stops when I let my foot off the gas, and only occurs under load. This alone would take me to the engine, but it responds to me turning the wheel. It gets louder when turning right and quieter when left. It also stops when I let off gas. My original thought was brakes, but I wanted to see if the community had an idea. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I recently bought a 2016 Tacoma SR5 2.7L 4WD with 70k mi. At idle in D or R like at a red light (idles around 550rpm) the truck vibrates. Sometimes it’s bad and shakes my head and eyes and feels like someone is kicking my seat. It tends to get worse the longer I sit at a red light. It’s worse with the brake pedal pressed, but happens a bit in drive with the parking brake on and not pushing the brake pedal. 2004 Camry with about 160K miles (and I hope to drive it until the kids take away my keys in a few years). For the last month or two, sometimes when I’m slowing gently almost to a stop, I get what I think is ABS activation: loudish fast pulsing sound (roughly five pulses/sec; almost a vibration) that I can feel in the brake pedal. I am here with another question Civic (european version) sedan 2010 80k miles. I have a situation which s been going on for long time and it only gets worse. I have a 07 zap xebra truck. The seal at the rear of the master cylinder has given up and leaks fluid into the cab floor. I removed the maser cylinder and have disassembled. Problem is the there are no parts available for these guys. I’ve measured the rear seal and it is 20mm OD and 13mm ID. It has u shape profile. Where can I find such a seal? Is there a place to cross reference the dimensions of such parts? Thanks

VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN OCTOBER 2017,WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK THE BECAME NOTICEABLY LOUDER. INITIALLY WE THOUGHT THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE WARNED UP.
