2015 닛산 알티마, 주행 거리 17,000마일. 가속 시(시속 40마일) 엔진음이 예상보다 크게 들림. RPM이 3,000~4,000까지 올라갔다가 시속 20~40마일 가속 시 급격히 1,500RPM으로 떨어짐.

Volvo S40 1999, 2.0 엔진. 유휴 상태에서 연료 압력 2.2-2.3 bar (정상 2.5), 고RPM에서 최대 2.6-2.7 bar (정상 3.0). 연료 압력 레귤레이터에서 인테이크 매니폴드로 가는 호스 분리 시 압력이 2.9 bar로 상승. 순정 Walbro 연료 펌프, 연료 압력 레귤레이터, 연료 필터, 인젝터 씰 교체함. 연료 펌프 릴레이는 없고 펌프를 제어하는 시스템 릴레이 있음 (확인됨). 시스템 릴레이도 교체함. 커넥터 청소, 연료 라인 상태 양호. 부품 교체에도 불구하고 개선 없음.

1998 홀덴 재커루 매뉴얼 차량, 아침에 시동 불량 - 처음 2~3회 시도에서 엔진이 걸리지 않으나 세 번째 시도에서 정상 시작됨. 대시 경고등은 정상 점등. 연료분사식 엔진.

B7 디젤에서 폐식용유(UVO)로 연료 변환 시 필요한 엔진 개조 사항 문의. 1마이크론까지 외부 필터링을 위해 필터 구매함. UVO의 다른 pH로 인해 연료 튜브가 손상될 수 있다는 우려. UVO 사용 시 충분한 튜브 종류 확인 필요. 여름이 오고 있어 추가 연료 가열기 솔루션은 아직 고려하지 않음. 하지만 UVO 사용 시 피해야 할 기본 기술적 문제들에 대한 사전 인식 필요.

2004 셰보레 말리부가 주행 중 갑자기 꺼졌고 시동이 걸리지 않음. 점화가 없는 것처럼 작동함. 새 스파크 플러그, 새 코일팩, 코일팩 위의 새 제어 모듈을 장착했으나 여전히 크랭크는 되지만 시동이 걸리지 않음. 연료 압력은 정상.

2009 Ford Fiesta Diesel (Econetic) 주행 중 엔진오일 경고등(주황색)이 켜짐. 오일 레벨은 디스틱으로 확인했을 때 최고 눈금. 엔진에서 비정상음 없음. 귀가 후 차량 하단에 오일 자국 몇 개 발견. 마지막 오일 교환 이후 약 5,000km 주행, 총 주행거리 약 100,000km.

OBD2 ELM327를 사용하여 연료 소비량 계산 시스템 개발 중. MAF(질량 공기 흐름), 속도, 연료 트림 퍼센트 등의 파라미터를 이용하여 초 단위 또는 시간 단위 연료 소비량 추정 필요. 여러 공식 시도했으나 정확한 결과 미획득. 자동차에서 연료 레벨 데이터 취득 실패.

연료 도어 하우징의 래치가 하우징 내부에 고착되어 있어서 연료 도어를 닫을 때 걸릴 부분이 없습니다. 하우징의 개구부에서 래치가 튀어나와야 하는데 나타나지 않으며, 개구부를 통해 안을 보면 래치가 보이지만 니들노즈 펜치로도 집을 수 없습니다.

2005 Volvo V50 2.4i에서 초기에 두 개 실린더에서 미스파이어 발생. 샵에서 헤드개스킷 손상으로 진단되어 교체했으나 개스킷에 손상 흔적 없음. 헤드 분해 작업 중 연료 레일에 검은 플레이크 형태의 이물질 발견하여 청소함. 조립 후 시동은 정상이나 스로틀이 한때 고착되었다가 청소 후 해결됨. 주행 성능은 양호함.

다양한 엔진 오일 브랜드가 같은 점도(예: 5W30)를 사용해도 성능 차이가 나는 이유가 궁금함. 유명 브랜드를 구매해야 하는 이유가 무엇인지, 그리고 차량 매뉴얼에서 특정 브랜드(예: Shell Helix 5W30)를 지정하는 이유가 무엇인지 알고 싶음.

I took a flight to Heathrow on Tuesday and drove 420 miles home in a lovely shade of willow green V70 2.5TIt turned over 64,007 when I arrived homeI filled the tank in Slough with 63.4 litres of BP Ultimate and once home OBC says I averaged 33.5mpg (it was at 37.4 before I got stuck in traffic going round Birmingham) and the OBC now says I can still drive another 115 miles.
