The more you look into the history of BL the more astonishing it is that it managed to survive as long as it did. Thanks everyone.I ended up going non-BB. £1650 with Direct Line (and that was the 'Prestige' so includes breakdown, legal, PI, enhanced courtesy car, belongings cover etc - the 'essential' version was £1480).All BB policies that were cheaper looked very restrictive and with poor feedback (over sensitive smoothness scores etc), and whilst there were plenty that only tracked speed (+10mph) and hours (11pm to 6am), they were no cheaper so it seemed to be a no brainer.Plus, I've driven with her and obviously know her personality. She's not a reckless driver and is comfortable being cautious.The cl

2005 푸조 307 해치백. 5월에 헤드 개스킷 교체 후 3,000km 주행. 교체 당시 오일 누유 있었고 냉각수가 오염됨. 냉각수 완전히 세척되지 않음. 2주 전 냉각수와 오일 점검 시 냉각수 양호, 오일 보충함. 현재 냉각수가 다시 검은색 마시멜로우 같은 색상으로 변하고 오염되며 오일이 섞여있음. 외부 오일 누유 없고 오일 레벨은 2주 전과 동일함.

배터리 교환

하이브리드 자동차(예: 토요타 프리우스)는 좋지만 배터리 유지보수/교체 걱정 없이 휘발유만으로 운전하고 싶음. 프리우스에서 배터리를 제거하고 일반 비하이브리드 자동차처럼 운전할 수 있는지 궁금함.

배터리 교체 시 검은색(음극) 케이블을 먼저 연결하고 빨간색(양극) 케이블을 나중에 연결함. 연결 시 알람이 한 번 울렸지만 스파크, 화재, 깜빡임 등 특이사항 없음. 몇 시간 운전 후 모든 것이 정상 작동 중. 배터리가 단락되거나 손상되었을 가능성 우려.

배터리 교환

1997 Toyota Camry 배터리 교체 후 배터리를 연결하면 즉시 패닉 알람이 울리고 모든 도어가 잠금. (참고: 리모콘 배터리가 방전된 상태)

4.5년된 수동변속기 자동 시동 정지 기술 탑재 차량. 한 번 라이트를 밤새 켜둔 후 점프스타트 필요했음. 최근 엔진 자동 정지 후 클러치를 밟고 시동할 때 라이트가 순간적으로 어두워지는 현상 발생. 신차 때는 이런 현상이 없었음. 엔진 시동 실패 없음 (라이트 방치 시 제외). 배터리는 자동 시동 정지용 설계이나 AGM 타입 아님.

배터리 점프 시작 시 수소 폭발 위험에 대한 우려. 음(-)케이블을 배터리 음(-)단자 대신 보닛이나 다른 차체 부분에 연결할 수 있는지 확인.

히터/에어컨 제어 모듈을 교체했는데 에어플로우 디플렉터가 여전히 작동하지 않음. 바닥 방향에서 멈춰있음. 모듈이 변경을 시도하는 것처럼 들리지만 아무 반응이 없음.

2007 Jetta, 75,000마일. 갑자기 시동이 걸리지 않음. 엔진은 회전하지만 시작되지 않음. 한 번은 시동이 걸렸다가 3초 후 꺼짐. 경고등: 핸들 표시등, 트랙션 컨트롤 및 이뮬라이저 표시등 깜빡임. 배터리 교체했으나 해결 안 됨. 엔진 경고등은 보통 시동 시 켜졌다가 3초 후 꺼졌는데, 이제는 켜지지 않음. 증상은 수주 전부터 시작되었으며 처음에는 15분 후 시동 가능했음.
