블로우바이(Blow-by)란 무엇인가? 블로우바이는 엔진의 연소실에서 발생하는 폭발이 연료, 공기, 수분을 피스톤 링 과정을 거쳐 크랭크케이스로 강제로 밀어낼 때 발생합니다. 엔진의 링은 압력을 포함하기 위해 우수한 밀착력을 유지해야 합니다. 블로우바이가 발생하는 원인은 무엇인가? 링과 실린더 라이너가 마모되면서 이 밀폐를 유지하는 능력이 떨어집니다. 결과적으로 자동차가 오래될수록 발생하는 블로우바이의 양이 증가할 수 있습니다. 불완전연소로 인한 그을음과 퇴적물이 링에 쌓이면 밀폐를 방해하여 블로우바이를 악화시킵니다. 엔진에 어떤 영향을 미치는가? 블로우바이는 압축 손실을 초래하기 때문에 성능을 저해합니다. 팽창하는 가스가 링을 통과하면 피스톤을 효과적으로 아래로 밀어내고 차량을 움직이지 못합니다. 결과적으로 자동차의 마력이 감소합니다. 이것은 또한 연비 저하를 초래합니다. 연료, 공기, 수분이 크랭크케이스로 유입되면 크랭크케이스의 오일이 오염되고 희석됩니다.

I encountered another dhead yesterday who pulled out onto a roundabout from my left and was waving his arms up and down, presumably trying to tell me to slow down so he could get in my way when I had right of way. WTF!

We have family visiting from overseas and I've managed to drive into their rental car whilst getting off my driveway this morning Damage is to their driver's door, a shallow crease about 20cm long, the scuffs have all polished out. Car is a slightly tatty 72-plate MG and there are a few dings and scrapes in other places. I'm not really sure how best to proceed, they are planning to take it back and plead ignorance / hope it isn't noticed (they have it for a few more weeks). I think their excess is mega but assume if the damage is spotted they will only be charged for the amount of the repair?

The naysayer posts on this topic remind me of similar in the early EV days.Whether it will become a thing or not will depend on whether some big players see potential commercial viability - and some are clearly hedging their bets.A tiny minority of supercar owners isn't going to support the industry but billions who can continue to run their existing vehicles as opposed to leasing overpriced white goods might.

I think this is a great shed for someone who just sticks to town use. Was even thinking of getting my daughter one (or a Zoe) because she never does more than 15 miles in one round trip and can only drive automatic (getting a cheap ICE auto is like trying to find rocking horse poo). She could charge at home or using the charger at the pub she works for. I honestly think for someone like that its a safer bet than the equivalent 15 year old ICE Honda Jazz Auto or Yaris Auto (which seem to be the main small cheap sub £2.5K autos that pop up on market place) as you've no oil, water, cambelt, etc t
