정기점검

목적지 도착 후 노킹 음 발생. 첫 점검 시 딥스틱에 오일 없음 - 5쿼트 주입 후 정상 작동했으나 다음 목적지에서 다시 노킹 발생. 그 이후에도 반복적으로 노킹 발생(매번 오일 있음). 노킹음은 주행 중에는 없고 감속할 때만 발생. 경고등 없음. 누유 흔적 없음. 배기가스에서 탄 오일 냄새 없음.

혼다 어코드

머스탱이나 혼다 시빅에서 가끔 '팍팍' 거리는 큰 소음이 들림. 자신의 차에서는 이런 소음이 없음.

1998년식 I6 4.0L 엔진, ~175,300마일 주행거리. 냉시동 후 몇 초 뒤부터 디젤 엔진 같은 소음 발생. 따뜻해지거나 주행/회전수 올리면 완전히 사라짐. 주로 단거리 주행(약 9마일, 시골길과 고속도로 번갈아). 블록 하단에서 가장 큼. 청진기로도 명확한 음원 파악 안됨. 시동 후부터 워밍업까지 발생. 망치로 단단한 금속을 때리는 것 같은 노킹음.

78 Nova, 350 엔진에 305 실린더 헤드 사용. 스톡 로커암 너트 교체 필요. 스톡 로커암을 롤러 로커암으로 업그레이드 고려 중 (+15hp 예상). 가이드 플레이트와 거들 필요 여부 및 스톡 로커암 비율(1.5 또는 1.6) 확인 필요.

엔진 시작 후에도 글로우 플러그가 계속 켜져 있는데, 이것이 정상인지? 초기 회전 수를 돕기 위해 글로우 플러그가 시동 후에도 작동해야 하는가?

이 엔진용 러닝인(break-in) 오일로 무엇을 사용해야 합니까? 새로운 피스톤, 컨로드, 크랭크샤프트 및 베어링이 들어간 엔진이 방금 오버홀되었습니다.

엔진 밸런스에 대해 혼란스러움. 1차 밸런스(피스톤의 앞뒤 회전)는 어느 정도 이해하지만, 2차 엔진 밸런스는 전혀 이해가 안 감.

2019년 12월식 EcoSport RHD 소유. 구매 이후 계속된 문제. 처음에는 심한 좌측 풀림 현상 발생 → 딜러에서 우측 너클 교체 및 서브프레임 조정. 이후 스티어링이 경직되고 센터링 오프 발생. 다른 딜러에서 휠 로테이션 및 스티어링 랙 교체 후 개선. 4월 이후 정렬(얼라인먼트) 조정 후에도 작은 범프나 포트홀 통과 시 얼라인먼트가 계속 풀림

Went to a small local show that I heard about on the grapevine, at a place called Path Head watermill, a beautiful setting a few miles from my place, but somewhere I'd never heard of or visited. It was a nice enough day, but the turnout was poor, mainly due to there being several other better advertised car events on that day. Well there's a surprise, the police can't be bothered to take any action against the Mercedes driver. I have asked them for an explanation as to why but doubt I will get one. It wouldn't surprise me if this isn't the first time he's done this to someone and it won't be the last. They had better not come wanting help from me in future as it won't be forthcoming. I just hope the next time he damages someone's property and gives them attitude they lay the scumbag out.
