Our house - former foundry stables building and later on an RAC garage before falling into disrepair. Plenty of tinkering space!My indispensable right hand man at work was my first apprentice and now we have a 22year old apprentice who I employed because he was into technical Lego. In his spare time he is now welding / repairing a MK2 MX5 on his parents driveway. We work in chemical / process / manufacturing - hands on engineering and maintenance. 2019년식 도요타 RAV4 Adventure 주행 중 신음음(그로닝 노이즈)이 들림

트럭 시동 시 수온계가 정상까지 올라가지만, 주행 중 수온계가 떨어지기 시작해서 끝까지 내려가며 RPM 문제가 발생합니다.

매스 에어 플로우 센서(MAF) 코드가 나와서 센서를 교체했는데 경고등이 꺼졌다가 다시 진단하니 코드가 재발생함. 다음에 확인해야 할 사항이 뭔지 알고 싶음.

2002 BMW 330Ci, 주행거리 140,000마일. 주로 시내 단거리 주행하지만 엔진이 정상 작동 온도에 도달함. 2-3개월마다 고속도로에서 고속 주행 (캘리포니아 해안 Highway 1). 현재 정비소에서 5W-40 풀 신스 오일(브랜드 미상) 교환 중. Mobil 1 5W-50 어드밴스드 풀 신스 오일을 별도로 보충하여 오일 소모 감소 목표. 엔진 수명 연장이 주요 목표.

크라이슬러 300 AWD 3.6L, 26,000마일에서 공회전 불규칙(rough idle)과 틱음(ticking sound) 발생. 워런티로 로커암(rocker arm) 24개 모두 교체했으나 증상 지속.

현대 i30 1600cc 디젤 오토, 주행거리 60,000마일. 약 10개월 전 추운 날씨(화씨 50~60도)에서 시동 어려움. 글로우 플러그 교체 후 호전되었으나, 현재 다시 같은 증상 발생. 기온 화씨 40~50도 범위에서 엔진이 첫 시동에 걸리지 않음. 글로우 플러그 경고등이 시동 전에 몇 초간 점등됨.

타이어 로테이션

저속(시속 약 25km 이하)에서만 제동할 때 '딸깍' 소리가 납니다. 고속(시속 70km 이상)에서는 발생하지 않습니다. 소리는 우측 전방에서 납니다. 2017년식 혼다 어코드입니다. 여러 정비사와 지인들이 확인했지만 제동 시스템, 휠 베어링 등 문제가 없다고 했습니다. 차는 완벽하게 운행됩니다.

서브루 엔진이 자주 터진다는 평판이 있는데, 이것이 운전자의 책임감 부족 때문인지 아니면 엔진 자체가 약한지 궁금합니다. 중고 서브루 구매 전에 엔진 압축 테스트를 포함한 점검을 받을 예정입니다.

디젤 엔진의 구형 모델들이 스로틀 플레이트 없이 작동하며, 디젤 엔진 폭주(runaway) 현상이 발생할 수 있다는 것을 알게 됨. 오일이 매니폴드에 고이면서 엔진이 제어 불능 상태로 돌아갈 수 있고, 스로틀 플레이트가 없는 구형 디젤 엔진에는 위험 요소가 있음.

What's the benefit to Formula 1 using engines like a 3.0L V8 or a 2.4L V8? I read this Reddit discussion on why it's not practical to put small many-cylindered engines into production cars. Cost mostly, due to the many additional and higher-quality components that must go into it. Just because race teams can afford to produce engines like that, what is the benefit to using these engines instead of 6- or 8-cylinder engines with higher displacement?

Having recently sold a 535i Touring, and still missing it, I'd take the 135i. 3.0, manual and RWD.The little S1 would get a look in though, as I had a really fun drive in one a couple of years ago and I still look at them in classifieds from time to time.
