Hi I have trouble with diagnosing no comm between modules. The relays is clicking when I open or clôose door or when ignition is on. The network shows intermittent short (can low to can high and also to ground but only to ground pins on DLC not on physical metal.) When measured disconnected PCM the short was on PCM but also on BCM so when disconnected both of them the network was finally not shorted. I think something between these modules is shorted and making both of them go crazy. Both of them were replaced, checked the grounds… Any of you have some tips which I should do next? thanks topol

My door locks won't lock any of them by remote or on the door.. Last night I loved them all & my remote acted like it did the beep beep.. All of a sudden after 3 mins my alarm was going off.. Then I went out & unlocked my door & then locked it back by hand of course then 3 mins later alarm going off again.. So I just unlocked the door..

So last week my side detection on 2017 GMC Acadia Ltd had a service soon. Made an appointment for Tuesday. So today battery completely dead, have a jump starter and could get a little revolution but not enough to turn over long enough to start. Jumper box usually takes less than 15 seconds to charge back up. 15 minutes later still charging. Called for a tow to dealer, guy had a better jumper box I guess, mine is 600 amp. Tow guy got it to start drove it onto the flatbed, dealer calls and says you now have a check engine light, $100 diagnosis plus the $200 for side detection diagnosis. Another

Hi, my ford is doing weird things and PCM or ecm is not communicating properly(when i connect to ecm after few seconds i have to reconnect). At random times relay in engine bay relay of glowplugs starts to click for few seconds and stops. This also occurs when i open or close front doors. When i turn igniton on this relays starts to click always and also the valve air intake is opening and closing without a break. Checked the grounds, the ecm was already changed and nothing changed. I think it could be wiring issue but dont know where to start checking. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have no coolant in my vehicle. It's getting cold tonight-20 degrees. Can I leave the vehicle parked, then just add coolant when the weather warms up again? The coolant all leaked out, I don't need to use the vehicle for a few days. Thanks!

I am, of course talking about parts of the car itself, not the license plates and personal effects. The car is a 2002 Daewoo Lanos. It is being junked because the engine failed (the cylinder head cracked), and I decided to buy a different vehicle instead of replacing the engine. When it broke down, the car had a new battery (literally only a month old) and I disconnected the terminals so it wouldn’t go bad. Hello! I have not driven my car for a month and now have this noise. It is a 2016 V Jetta and normally in great shape. The noise is in the background and sounds like something soft is rubbing against something. First, I should say that my Fusion has an EPAS (Electronic Power Assist Steering) which means that there is no hydraulic pump but rather an electric motor which provides the assistance to the steering system. In January I had the “Service Power Steering Now” indication on the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) as well and an AdvanTrac (Ford’s traction control system) light. I have a 2003 Honda Civic coupe (EX) that makes a loud squeal. It starts when I just get going in the car, maybe two or three minutes into the drive. The squeal seems to come from the engine, and lasts for 15 to 30 seconds, before abruptly stopping. I seem to think its a belt, but not sure why its doing it or how to stop it. Not sure if its something I can ignore or not. Thanks for any advice.

My mechanic replaced my radiator hoses. 2 weeks later, one came loose and the engine overheated and died. It was put back on and 2 weeks after that, the hose began to leak. I brought it back and both hoses were replaced, said to be faulty. An external compression test was performed but not internal compression test. What does that mean and should I take the car to another mechanic for further testing or monitor the car for a while first? It seems to rev higher upon acceleration, to 3RPMs but I have not had the car back for more than a day.

2005 Camry. Not driven much, around the block twice once a week. The car will not start. When I attempt to start it, I hear a bunch of clicks. Last couple of starts, cranking seemed sluggish. I measured the voltage at the battery terminal and got 11.79 volts, with the car at rest, and not attempting to start it. The battery is from January 2019. It is an AutoCraft Gold, Part Number 24F-6. My 07 Impala stopped blowing air so I got a new blower motor. I take the old one out, connect the plug to the new one and nothing. I took a multi meter and connected it’s leads to the plug that goes to the blower motor to see if it’s getting power. As I turned the fan up and down, the meter also went up and down. I’m assuming it’s getting power. Since the meter went up and down along with the fan speed dial, I’m assuming the resistor is working. I HAVE AN ISSUE OF WHEN RESUMING ACCELERATION FROM A SLOW DOWN OR A COMPLETE STOP. THE CAR WILL HESITATE/ HICCUP AND GIVE STUTTERS WHILE ACCELERATING. A SUDDEN SPIKE IN RPM IS NOTICED AS WELL.
