증상
시속 60km에서 브레이크를 밟자 차가 통제 불능으로 좌우로 심하게 흔들리기 시작함. 핸들이 저절로 좌우로 빠르게 움직이며 콘크리트 기둥에 거의 충돌할 뻔함. 브레이크를 밟은 것은 급하지 않은 정상적인 강도였음. 차량이 스스로 주행하는 것처럼 미끄러지며 흔들림.
처리 내용
브레이크 또는 서스펜션 고장 가능성 검토 필요. 한쪽 브레이크 기능 상실 시 브레이크를 밟으면 작동하는 쪽은 감속하고 고장난 쪽은 감속하지 않아 차량이 한쪽으로 쏠림. 현재 증상이 더 심한 것으로 보아 서스펜션 부품이 분리되었을 가능성 있음. 휠을 정렬시키는 부품이 분리되어 최소한 한쪽 휠의 얼라인먼트가 틀어진 상태로 추정됨. 각 휠을 육안으로 확인하여 한쪽이 정렬되지 않은 상태인지 확인할 수 있음.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
