I had one of these for twelve months and it was absolutely brilliant. I test drove it against a 991.1 Carrera and it felt much quicker and better put together. Slightly slower than a Carrera S mind. It replaced an R35 GT-R and was more relaxing to drive and cost half as much to run (which was important with a long commute). They're not a car for you if you're obsessed by big numbers and 0-60 times (though they're not slow), but they are definitely more than the sum of their parts. Massively misunderstood. Bit of a random one for me but had to do it. Had an EK4 back when I was 19, and loved every second of it, sold it on like an idiot and always regretted it. Since then I've had a fair few of the "better" ones, FD2 Type R (JDM import), DC2, DC5, EK9, Civic Jordan, all genuinely great cars, faster, rarer on paper, whatever you want to call it. But never quite scratched the same itch as the EK4 did, why I don t know maybe it s nostalgia although I had a civic ek9 at the same time as a civic ek4 sir, and I sold the ek9 maybe I m just backwards.Anyway, long story short, finally caved and picked anot

As you may have guessed from my username, I'm a V8 fan. Unfortunately it's been a decade since I've owned one, and it was time to rectify that! I had considered buying a Jag S Type R about 15 years ago, but the auto box put me off so I ended up with a Vauxhall Monaro instead, which I enjoyed immensely. Fast forward to earlier this year and I was considering something interesting to act as a grand tourer for a few road trips and I instantly thought of the Jag again.I spent far too long browsing Autotrader, Ebay and Pistonheads, and discovered values varied from £5k for a ropey one up to £25k

I actually ordered one of these but cancelled at the last minute (after it was in the country and registered) as I got into a GT4 instead.They're really good fun and the B58 engine is genuinely astonishing for a turbo unit.Overall things that put me off:Felt a bit cheap/ordinary inside, for the money (and I was coming out of a 370Z Nismo)The pedals are massively offset to the rightThe test drive in the GT4... which wasn't the Supra's faultI've 'lost' more in depreciation on the GT4 than I would have on the Supra, by the looks of it!

F56 great buy! I picked up a 2yr old Cooper SD in 2017 and still have it. Whoever spec'd it did a great job as its got every extra except sunroof, Harmon stereo and front parking sensors - even has adaptive cruise, LED lights and HUD!Run flats were the worse thing when I got it as it rides on the 18" alloys, dropping into a pothole would bulge the sidewalls writing off the tyre! When I swapped to normal tyres it transformed the ride quality. Putting it in 'Sport' with the adaptive dampers switching to firm does jar over rough roads surfaces.I've been buying updated maps online for it every few
