My other half's car for the last 5 years has been a Mercedes ML350cdi. To it's credit it's was one of the most comfortable cars we've owned. Incredibly practical for a family of five but it was becoming costly. 엔진 미스파이어가 계속 발생. 배터리가 방전되고 알터네이터 불량으로 전기 시스템 고장. 알터네이터와 배터리 교체 후에도 P0303 진단 코드 발생. 플러그와 점화 케이블 교체 후 코드 사라졌으나 100마일 주행 후 P0303 코드 재발생. #3 실린더 플러그와 케이블 재설치 후 코드 사라졌으나 며칠 후 미스파이어 재발생. 그 후 P0420 코드 발생.

배터리가 완전히 방전되어 시동 불가 상태였고, 점프 스타트로 시작한 후 30분 정도 주행했으나 며칠 후 다시 방전되어 시동할 수 없게 됨. 현재 상태에서 충분히 충전되어 시동을 확신할 수 있는 수준까지 얼마나 오래 운전해야 하는지 확인 필요.

승객석 뒤쪽 타이어 옆면에 3인치 정도의 컷이 생김. 외부 러버 레이어만 잘린 것으로 보이며, 코드나 벨트가 보이지 않음. 500마일 주행 후 팽창이나 분리 현상 없음.

2001 Toyota Echo가 시작되지 않음. 전기 시스템은 정상 작동 (라이트, 콘솔 등 모두 작동), 하지만 시동 시도 시 지속적인 클릭음만 발생하고 엔진이 회전하지 않음. 점프 스타트도 효과 없음.

크래프트맨 트리머가 몇 년간 사용하지 않아 구동 불안정. 오래된 연료 혼합액 사용 중이며, 이전 사용 시에도 같은 문제 발생했던 것으로 추정.

I posted a question at a sister site; Why use steam instead of alcohol in Army of Darkness? It is suggested in the comments and an answer that without major modifications the V8 in the Oldsmobile will not run on pure alcohol without blowing up. Are modifications required to run pure home distilled alcohol in an early 1970s V8? If so what modifications are required?
