When I look at Lamborghini Veneno and compare it for example to the Ferrari 458 Italia I can see that Lamborghini used a V12 while Ferrari placed a V8 inside the 458 Italia. I wonder why Lamborghini uses a V12 as it should be the heavier engine. Also due to additional 4 cylinders it has more spinning parts and wearing parts. Shouldn't the V8 have advantages over the V12? So I wonder why did the Lamborghini choose the V12 over an V8? I find the V8, after the 6 cylinder boxster from Porsche, the best engine when taking agreement between weight, spinning parts, horsepower/torque and space.

Do I want it? No I don't want a Ferrari EV.Do i appreciate a design that's clean and not aggressive for once? Absolutely. More of this please, but with V8s and less weightand fewer doors

My ears don't hurt, but my left ear feels a little blocked afterwards. I was standing a meter and a half away from a machine that fits rim into the tire, while also pumping air or something. The tire was lying horizontal. Anyway it popped loudly like a gunshot. Is this normal sound? I didn't like having my ear blocked. Is this permanent damage to my ear? I didn't have my ear right close to the tire but I was standing close. Is this normal when fitting new tires?

Thanks everyone.I ended up going non-BB. £1650 with Direct Line (and that was the 'Prestige' so includes breakdown, legal, PI, enhanced courtesy car, belongings cover etc - the 'essential' version was £1480).All BB policies that were cheaper looked very restrictive and with poor feedback (over sensitive smoothness scores etc), and whilst there were plenty that only tracked speed (+10mph) and hours (11pm to 6am), they were no cheaper so it seemed to be a no brainer.Plus, I've driven with her and obviously know her personality. I have a spare engine sitting around and i've been planning on building a 220V generator from it. I'll be using an old UPS device which uses two 12V batteries wired in series to make 24V and connect it to the car batteries. The plan is to have the engine power two car alternators and each alternator connects to one battery separately from each other while the batteries are still connected in series. Question is, will there be an issue for the alternators charging one battery each while they are connected in series ?
