파워 스티어링 액이 승객석 앞 타이어 옆의 부츠로 보이는 구멍을 통해 계속 새고 있음. 스티어링 휠이 떨리고 파워 스티어링 펌프에서 고음이 발생하고 있음.

얼터네이터 교환

2006 Toyota Camry 배터리가 방전되었습니다. 점프 스타트 후에도 충전이 유지되지 않았습니다. 배터리 테스트 결과 정상이었으나 오토차저(alternator) 테스트에서 불량으로 나타났습니다. 오토차저를 교체했지만 원인이 명확하지 않습니다.

94 아쿠라 인테그라 AT - 작년에 배출가스 테스트 겨우 통과, 올해 불통과. 지난 1년 반 동안 연비가 약 30mpg에서 15mpg로 급감. 가끔 유휴 중 아무 이유 없이 시동 꺼짐. 시동 시 과도한 연료 분사로 인해 엔진 진동 및 불규칙한 공회전 발생. 가끔 10초 이상 걸려서 시동됨. 이미 교체한 부품: 촉매변환기, 스파크 플러그, 플러그 코드

약 180,000마일 주행된 차량이 매우 거친 승차감을 보임. 새 타이어(10,000마일 미만, 205/60/16)를 장착했지만 도로의 작은 균열까지 모두 느껴짐. 북부 지역 운행으로 포트홀과 노면 손상 많음. 때때로 몸이 위로 튕겨 올라올 정도로 심각함.

02 Buick LeSabre의 라디에이터에서 냉각수 저장소로 오일이 흘러 들어옴. 최근 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 새 엔진 설치함. 새 워터 펌프와 서모스탯 장착됨.

오일 교환 후 5W-30 대신 HD-30을 0.7쿼트 섞어 사용했음. 한동안 주행하지 않은 후 시동이 어렵고 가스를 더 공급해야 시동됨. 배기가스에서 검은 연기가 분출됨.

푸시 버튼식 주차 브레이크 고장 시 해제 방법이 있는지 확인 필요. 푸시 버튼식 시동과 스티어링 휠 잠금 시스템 고장 시 해제 방법 확인 필요. 주차장에서 차량 시동 불가 상황에서의 대처 방법 궁금함.

Vauxhall Agila A(Delphi CVC 내부 제어 컴프레서, 수동 변속기, Bosch Motronic ME ECU 장착)에서 AC를 켜고 클러치 페달을 천천히 올려서 차를 움직일 때 컴프레서 클러치가 OFF되는 현상 발생(클릭음 들림, CVC 컴프레서의 특유한 '으르렁' 소음이 멈춤). 정상적으로는 AC 작동 중 컴프레서가 싸이클링되지 않아야 함.

에어컨 가스 충전

두 번째 에어컨 재충전 후 냉매 누수 의심. 스탑리크 및 형광염료를 넣고 재충전함. UV 손전등으로 확인 결과 H 서비스 밸브(고압 밸브) 주변에 초록색 형광염료가 상당량 발견됨. 정비소에서 새 콘덴서 교체 견적(£360) 제시.

22AH AGM 보조 배터리를 충전하고 싶은데, 배터리 제조사에서 충전 시 6A를 초과하지 말 것을 권장함 (배터리 손상 및 폭발 위험). 그런데 올터네이터에서 나오는 전류가 6A보다 훨씬 많아서 문제가 됨

미쯔비시 랜서의 타이어를 교체하는데, 정품 타이어는 31 psi로 지정되어 있고 새 타이어는 더 조용하고 부드러우며 그립감이 약간 낮은 다른 브랜드/모델입니다. 새 타이어에 몇 psi를 주입해야 하는지, 그리고 권장 압력이 같은 타이어에만 적용되는지 아니면 차량 특성인지 확인이 필요합니다.

2006 솔스티스 터보 차량에서 가속 후 감속할 때 휘발유 냄새가 몇 초간 났다가 사라짐. 연료레일(fuel rail)을 고정하는 10mm 볼트 하나가 약 1cm 정도 풀려 있는 것을 발견(엔진 장착 후 약 2000마일). 아침에 주유 중 승객 도어를 열었을 때 차 내부에서 휘발유 냄새 감지.

머플러 교환

2009 혼다 시빅 LX - 배기음 같은 딸그락거리는 소리와 회전 관련 금속음(삑삑거리는 소리) 들림. 둘 다 간헐적. 엔진룸과 차량 하단을 확인했지만 헐거운 부분 발견 못함. 회전음은 차량 속도와 관련있어 보임.

Walbro WA226 고속 조절 나선이 없음. 고속 제트에 문제가 있는 것으로 보임. 저속 나선으로는 스로틀이 전개 상태에서만 설정 가능하고, 아이들 상태로 운전하려면 저속 나선을 1턴 이상 조여야 함.

My mrs is normally alright, but when it comes to cars, she is a .Never had any points, and never ever had a crash in 30 years, never curbed a wheel so cant complain about her driving like she likes to remind me of, bit ffs trying to get her to have a bit of mechanical sympathy is a big cause of arguments.My e38 740, ignored the binging and message on the dash saying coolant low,then stop coolant temperature, ignored the red light on the temp gauge then kept driving harder as it was losing power until the block and heads were a fking prezel.Various other cars, asked her not to use full throttle

Could somebody give me a little guidance and how this would work. Car A is on my driveway that I want to swap for car B which we will be meeting half way, car B is taxed and previous owner will cancel tax after we get back from the swap. Temp insurance will be used.Car A has no insurance or tax. Insurance as said I will just use temp cover. Do I just tax the car as normal and then cancel once I am home, shame to lose 35 quid just for a 40 minute drive.
