2016 마즈다 CX-5, 주행거리 25,000km. 정기검사에서 배기가스 분석 시 가속(약 2,500rpm, A/C 오프)할 때 HC-PPM이 160으로 측정됨. 기준치는 100이므로 부적합. 차량은 양호한 상태이고 마즈다 딜러에서 정기정비 받음.

변속기 오일 교환

2006 아우디 A3, 1.6L 가솔린 엔진, 자동변속기. 간헐적 시동 불량 - 세 번째 시도에서 시동됨. 콜드스타트 시에는 발생하지 않으며, 최대 세 번째 시도에서는 항상 시동됨. 언제든 시동이 걸리지 않을 수 있다는 우려.

200,000km 이상 주행한 중고 트럭. 1년 이상 방치되어 있었음. 점화 플러그는 정상 작동하지만 연료 공급 없음. 타이밍 확인 완료 (TDC 맞음). 에테르 분사 후에도 시동 불가능 (역화 없음).

2004 쉐보레 2500 6.0L - AC 컴프레서 벨트를 장착한 후 주차 중 대시보드에 "Engine Coolant Hot" 경고가 표시되고, 컴프레서 위의 파이프에서 냉각수가 분사되며 라디에이터 호스에 진공 현상 발생

엔진오일 교환

1997 펄서 N15 (닛산 센트라/알메라)의 시동 문제. 몇 시간 또는 밤새 방치 후 시동에 20-30초 소요. 연료 압력이 엔진 정지 후 0으로 떨어졌다가 시동 시 다시 상승해야 함. 이미 연료펌프(신품), 연료압력레귤레이터(중고) 교체, 엔진 데카본, 스로틀바디 및 에어아이들모터 청소, 연료계통 클리너 여러 회 적용 완료.

키를 돌릴 때마다 아무 반응이 없다가 여러 번 돌린 후에야 정상적으로 시동이 걸린다. 새 배터리, 스타터 모터 신규 배선, 새 키를 장착했지만 같은 증상이 계속된다. 2006년식 기아 세도나 디젤 차량.

겨울 동안 연료를 담은 상태로 보관했던 잔디깎이 엔진을 시작했을 때 처음 몇 초는 잘 시동이 걸렸다가 즉시 스터터링되며 꺼짐. 지난 시즌에는 완벽하지는 않았지만 문제없이 작동했음. 스파크 플러그 교체, 휘발유 탱크, 연료 라인, 캐뉼레이터, 에어 필터 분해 검사 후 캐뉼레이터 클리너로 청소함. 모든 부품이 정상으로 보임. 연료 라인이 캐뉼레이터와 만나는 L자 형태의 플라스틱 조인트 부분만 분해할 수 없었지만 캐뉼레이터 클리너를 분사함. 이 모든 작업 후에도 여전히 시동이 걸리지 않음.

차선 유지 보조(Lane Assist) 시스템이 성가로움. 2개 버튼으로 끌 수 있지만, 차선 유지 보조를 끄려면 메뉴에 들어가거나 Track 버튼을 눌러야 함. Track 버튼은 모든 안정성 제어를 약화시키고 차선 유지 보조를 끔. 안정성 제어도 별도 버튼으로 완전히 끌 수 있음. 문제는 차를 재시동하면 모든 설정이 On으로 돌아감.

2019 Honda Passport AWD Elite: 9-26-23에 새 타이어 4개 장착 (265/45R-20XL 108V ION EVO 올시즌 SUV). 장착 당시 주행거리 65,198마일. 타이어 센터에서 테슬라 및 기타 전기차용 타이어라고 설명. 300마일 주행 후 고속도로 주행 중(65mph) '트랜스미션 고장(transmission failure)' 경고 발생. 속도를 낮춰 고속도로 탈출 후 가속 시 트랜스미션 문제 발생.

혼다 어코드 에어컨 시스템에서 고압부와 저압부 라인의 압력이 동일함 (80°F 날씨에 약 90 psi). 컴프레서 클러치는 여전히 작동 중. 처음에는 냉매 누수로 진단되어 콘덴서와 드라이어를 교체했음.
