Instead of working around the car's power band and setting up for a corner, you're essentially working out the right level of throttle to balance the car into, and punching out of it. It's different, but to me, no less enjoyable just because I haven't had to dance on three pedals and move a gear lever around. EVs are different, and they’ve added factors that have made me to re-think or re-prioritise attributes that I think I like.I like my Tesla, it’s great at transport, and it’s actually quite fun to drive fast (has a sweet spot in flowing / driving swiftly perhaps).I love my motorbikes, but I don’t use them as transport, they are just for pleasure and they are brilliant as toys (on and off road)I’ve just got a boxster, and it’s again a different type of fun (partly the open top and the engine / noise)I actually enjoy driving my transit…. Maybe that’s partly the usage it gets, i use to go somewhere with toys in the back.There are so many ways to enjoy driving or riding, maybe I’m just not very discerning, but I find great fun in loads of different vehicles.
