아우디/폭스바겐이 듀얼 클러치 변속기를 갑자기 공개했을 때, 기억하기로는 꽤 잘 지켜진 비밀이었던 것 같습니다. 더 이상 그런 경우가 있습니까?

After more than ten years of E36 tinkering, many engine iterations and lots of seat time from track days to racing, it was time so start something new. An accident in the E36 at Cadwell Park in April 2023 was the ultimate deciding factor for this. The car was repairable, but it's fate was already decided - break it for parts and retain what I needed, then sell the rest to fund the next project. It's final spec is listed in the video description if you are interested. The platform and interchangeability of the M5x engine parts will never go away, but fun was had and it was time to move on. |

Without knowing the price per litre, this (surely) has to be a positive development?The UK (and European) Governments need to have a sliding methodology towards phasing our fossil fuels entirely. This seems, on the face of it, a means to do just that, that will (should) also gain support from petrolheads.

머플러 교환

2004 WRX 왜건, Prodrive 서스펜션 팁 애프터마켓 머플러 장착. 최근 3200rpm 감속 시 특정 회전대에서 울음 소리(howl) 발생. 정상 회전 유지 시에도 음향 변화 감지. 수년간 같은 머플러를 사용해왔는데 최근 배기음이 변했음.

머플러 교환

2006 Mazda RX-8 Shinka의 배기음이 너무 작아서 더 크게 듣고 싶음. 현재 순정 배기 및 흡기 시스템 장착. 이웃 민원을 피하면서 적당한 수준의 음량 증가 원함. 엔진이 뜨거워지는 것은 피하고 싶음.

새 헤더 설치 후 캣컨버터 쪽과 엔진블록 쪽 모두에서 볼트가 끝까지 들어가지 않음. 볼트를 빼낼 때는 쉽게 나왔으나 다시 조일 때 저항이 생김. 과도한 힘을 사용하면 볼트가 끊어질 우려됨.

머플러 파이프를 장착하려는데 실런트만 사용해도 되는지, 아니면 클램프를 반드시 사용해야 하는지 불명확함

I had no idea it was so bad....£9M settlement though? - I guess they'll be launching even more investigations into me now, with that to recoup from somewhere other than licence fee income...

No more Chris Harris on TV is a major plus. It could return in the future however, but this was probably the excuse the BBC needed to get rid of it as the forced formula was failing.

윈터 타이어/휠로 직접 교체한 후 핸들이 좌우로 빠르게 흔들림. 새 도로와 낡은 도로 모두에서 발생. 러그너트는 토크렌치로 조였고 헐거운 곳이 없음.

엔진 브레이킹 사용 시 RPM 상승과 소음 발생. 긴 내리막길에서 2단 기어로 유지할 때 시속 45km 정도에서 가속되는 현상.

타이어 교체 시 럭너트를 푸는 방법에 대한 질문. 처음 3개 타이어는 지면에 닿은 상태에서 럭너트를 풀었으나, 4번째 타이어는 공중에 떠 있는 상태에서 임팩트렌치로 스타 패턴으로 풀었을 때 문제가 없어 보임. 수동 렌치를 사용할 때와 임팩트렌치를 사용할 때의 차이가 궁금함.

2006 Mazda3 2.3L (FWD, 오픈 디프) 앞 오른쪽 타이어 사이드월에 부풀음 발견. 타이어 교체 필요하며, 새 타이어를 다음 로테이션 후 5,000마일 후에 구동축에 장착 예정. 20,000마일 마모 차이가 나는 타이어들을 장착했을 때 디프에 손상이 발생할 수 있는지 확인 필요.

안전 손잡이(safety handle)에 연결된 안전 정지 케이블(safety stop cable)에 유격이 있음. 풀코드를 당길 때 노출된 케이블을 함께 당기면 항상 시동이 걸림. 시동 후 케이블의 노출된 부분을 당기면 엔진이 꺼지지 않음. 스파크플러그 교환, 오일 교환, 카뷰레터 오링 재조립 후에도 시동 불안정 문제 지속.

스즈키 알토 실내에서 배기가스/가솔린/오일 냄새가 난다. 환기팬을 돌릴 때 통풍 시스템을 통해 냄새가 들어온다.
