Thanks to a fortuitous set of financial circumstances (mortgage paid off, made redundant at the back end of last year, and found a new job pretty sharpish - meaning the redundancy payout I got can be spent on a 'want', not a 'need') I have recently found myself in a position to tick off a big bucket list item for me.If we rewind back to the late 90s ... lads had their hair cut with a bowl and curtain fringes ... girl power was trying to work out what a zig-a-zig-ah was ... and a small group of mentalists were building bonkers cars in Blackpool. 2004 인피니티 G35, 155,000km, 냉간 시동 후 추운 아침에만 간헐적으로 초당 약 2회 진동하는 "부드러운 금속 삐걱거림" 소리가 들림. 약 1분 후 사라짐. 엔진이 따뜻하거나 외부 온도가 섭씨 0도 이상일 때는 발생하지 않음.

실린더 벽이 마모되어 있고, 엔진을 오버보어(oversize bore)할 것을 제안받음. 실린더 치수 변경에 따른 압축비 변화에 대해 궁금함. 피스톤을 교체해야 하는지, 기존 피스톤을 사용할 수 있는지 확인 필요. 과도한 오버보어의 단점이 무엇인지 알고 싶음.

사이드 스커트와 스플리터가 있는 플로우, 소음 문제. 휠과 리어 디퓨저를 장착하려고 함

2005 Ford Escape 2.3L 엔진에서 시동 직후부터 노킹음 발생, 노킹음의 속도가 RPM을 따름

ECU 제조사가 어느 곳인지 확인 필요. 기본 데이터(RPM, 온도 등)는 쉽게 기본값으로 처리되지만, 차량 모델/사양에 맞는 올바른 멀티플렉서/순환 메시지를 설정하지 못하면 ABS가 작동하지 않고 고장 상태에 머무름. PSM은 시작 단계도 어려움 - 토크 감소 요청 메시지는 확인되어 있지만 포맷/속도 및 ECU에서 역방향으로 보내는 메시지는 알려지지 않음.

V-밴드 클램프를 반복적으로 제거하고 재장착할 때, 스레드가 스크래치되거나 제거 시 클램프가 부러지는 문제 발생. PSR 웨이스트게이트의 클램프가 파단됨. 클램프 조임 부분이 일반적인 2.5인치 V-밴드 클램프보다 좁아서 호환되는 클램프를 찾기 어려움.

Ok so I go to a lot of music festivals in the summer, stay up all night, then try to sleep during the day. A buddy swears by just idling his van engine and blasting the AC, like for 4-8 hours when it gets up to 100 degrees outside… I get that this will put significant wear on the engine, but so will driving it 500 miles, what I’m asking is will it be dangerous for it and cause expensive repairs? 스키 보트의 캐브레터식 Chevy 350 엔진을 겨울 보관 후 시동을 걸 때 문제 발생. 겨울 보관 처리 과정에서 인테이크에 보존 스프레이를 분사하면 엔진이 꺼지고, 이를 제거하기 위해 스타터를 여러 번 돌려야 함. 이 과정에서 스로틀을 펌프질할 때 엔진이 갑자기 시동되어 급속도로 회전하는데, 이때 엔진에 아직 충분한 오일이 없어서 과도한 마모 우려.

100마력 엔진의 자동차가 300마력 엔진의 자동차보다 같은 속도(100km/h)에서 연비가 더 좋은 이유가 궁금함. 물리적으로는 같은 속도 유지에 같은 에너지가 필요한데, 고출력 엔진이 더 비효율적인가?
