And why? Not all of these are "bad" cars but I have just never liked them for one reason or another. So in no particular order:1) Austin Metro/Maestro - one of my best friends had both of these in sixth form and all I can say is that they were marginally better than getting the bus but had just as little cred and both seemed very dated against the competition almost as soon as they had been launched. The MG versions can have a bye and it's not an Austin Rover thing, as I didn't mind the Montego and like Rovers in general. I guess a tidy Austin Metro would have some FOTU cred but the Maestr

I might struggle for 10 as I can see positive elements in most cars, even if I am not the target market.....Audi A1 base spec in white - for image obsessed & cash strapped young females onlyNissan Juke - awful awful. Current gen Volvo V60 - really wanted to like it but hated the cramped interior and its design. I can see why nobody is buying these and wants roomy SUV's insteadAll Alpinas - only serve a purpose of stupidly expensive nerdy bragging rights. Pointless. Love the idea, but they were difficult enough to look after in period, never mind 40 years later.Limited annual mileage would help I suppose.

We have family visiting from overseas and I've managed to drive into their rental car whilst getting off my driveway this morning Damage is to their driver's door, a shallow crease about 20cm long, the scuffs have all polished out. Car is a slightly tatty 72-plate MG and there are a few dings and scrapes in other places. I'm not really sure how best to proceed, they are planning to take it back and plead ignorance / hope it isn't noticed (they have it for a few more weeks). I think their excess is mega but assume if the damage is spotted they will only be charged for the amount of the repair?

The naysayer posts on this topic remind me of similar in the early EV days.Whether it will become a thing or not will depend on whether some big players see potential commercial viability - and some are clearly hedging their bets.A tiny minority of supercar owners isn't going to support the industry but billions who can continue to run their existing vehicles as opposed to leasing overpriced white goods might.
