I want to upgrade to an budget entry level bidirectional one. (Not just a code reader.) Autel seems to be good but there are so many models. I am looking for one that can do TPMS. BT is not really needed. Reading the sensors of course is mandatory. Key programming a plus, but I know a lot of new stuff needs internet access. Not going that far. Autel MK808S-TS looks like what I need. Battery testing would be a plus. Vin reading for auto setup would be nice. Mostly going to be used for domestic. (Ford, GM, Toyota) Any other ideas? I probably won’t be doing any upgrades. At least for a while. By

As above. I’ve had a plate on a car for 20-odd years, which I want to take off and revert to original. The car is MOTd but until Saturday was SORN, not taxed. I’ve gone to put the plate on retention online (which I’ve done several times with other vehicles in the past) but the gov website says it can’t be done online and I have to fill in a form and send to them (with a cheque! No idea if I still own a cheque book!) and they’ll consider and decide whether I can do this or not. A quick question to AI at the weekend said “tax it and you’ll be able to do it online”. BMW X6 E71 (2009) CCC 네비게이션 인포테인먼트 시스템이 계속 재부팅됨. 부팅 시 BMW 로고가 잠깐 나타났다가 화면이 검게 변하고 20~30초 후 다시 시작되는 무한 반복 발생. BMW 로고는 매번 나타남. 시스템에서 소리 전혀 없음(라디오, 네비게이션, 시스템 음성 모두 무음). iDrive 컨트롤러 반응 없음. 엔진 작동 중에도 문제 지속. 주차 센서는 정상 작동.

자동차를 2주일 동안 운행하지 않은 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. CTEK 트rickle charger로 시거잭을 통해 배터리를 충전한 후 정상 시동. 여러 정비소에서 배터리 테스트 결과 배터리는 정상이고 방전된 상태라고 판단. charger가 완충 표시 후 연결 해제하고 멀티미터로 측정하니 12.23V (약 50% 충전 상태). 반복 충전해도 동일한 현상 발생.

BMW가 냉간 시동 시 시동이 걸리지 않음. 특히 야간 후 외부 온도 -4~+1도 환경에서 발생. 엔진이 계속 회전하지만 착화되지 않음. 배터리 상태는 양호. 정비소 진단 결과 모든 항목 정상이나 문제 지속. 컴퓨터에 "연료펌프 고장" 경고 표시.

새 Wilwood 캘리퍼, 패드, 스테인리스 브레이크 라인을 06 Solstice 후륜에 장착한 후 간헐적인 ABS 경고등 발생. 다음날부터 간헐적인 배터리 경고등 발생. DIC가 30초 내에 여러 번 깜빡임. 주차 브레이크 경고등도 간헐적으로 점등(e-브레이크 미장착). 엔진은 정상 작동.

배터리 교환

2010 실버라도 1500에 시거렛 라이터 아울렛에 꽂는 LED 작업등 2개를 사용 중. 수 시간 동안 차량 하단부에서 작업할 때 사용하는데, 아직까지 배터리가 방전되어 시동이 안 될 정도로는 떨어지지 않았음. 하지만 한계가 있을지 궁금함. 트럭이 배터리 과방전을 방지하기 위해 자동으로 라이터/조명을 차단하는 기능이 있는지 확인 필요.

2004 마즈다 3, 2-3일 방치 후 시동 불가, 트릭 충전이나 점프 필요. 주행 후 몇 시간 휴차 시 12.1V 측정. 암페어계로 유휴 전력 소비 측정 결과 16mA 이하(매우 양호).

겨울철에 배터리 텐더를 사용할 때 배터리를 분리해야 하는지 여부, 케이블을 연결한 상태로 두면 충전 시스템이 손상될 가능성이 있는지 궁금함

자동차 응용 분야에서 납산 배터리의 대안 검토 중. 커패시터를 배터리로 사용할 수 있는지, 그리고 다른 배터리 유형의 장단점은?
