I am liking the Type 01, I like my XJ and I am not sure why so many are so downright vindictive about it, hoping they go under etc.Personally a honking great saloon with a 1000 bhp, peerless ride, AWD and distinctive looks is actually pretty appealing and I like it doesnt look like a Resto mod 1973 XJ. In my late 40s I considered an F Type but just had no use for a heavy, premium 2 seater and when 50 came close to picking up an F Pace SVR as they're superb cars and the car Jag should have been making for the last 20 years if they wanted to appeal to the younger, up and coming buyer. At 53 I look at the 001 and it is exactly the sort of Jag I'd want to be buying now if I wanted a traditional big Jag. It has the presence of the XJs that I grew up with while being much cheaper and more sporting than a Roller and it has a quiet interior that isn't aimed at a
