Watching Matt's preview of the new BMW 3 series he revealed one milestone feature - "Driver Routines" Timestamp: 4:30https://youtu.be/NJJxakiMqgQ?t=270BMW has added driver routines (profiles) with logic conditions (eg. When you start the car) ... to toggle various system including stop/start ... lane assist, speed warnings etc. The profile is bound to the driver entering the car (key).This is very much welcomed but does anyone know why we couldn't have had this much earlier - is it new EU legislation, or have BMW found a clever loophole to bypass the EU regs to avoid having these system always

I’m never certain that the DBX photographs well. When I see them in the flesh they do seem handsome but I always feel somewhat let down by the interior. Still easier to get in and out of than our Rapide and now Harry drives one in Mobland I’ve been checking out prices…

Why do cars of this tech level and purchase price continue to use open diffs? Surely the on and off road capability would be enhanced just with passive helical diffs?

2001 F450 7.3 디젤 - 엔진이 키로 꺼지지 않음. 대시보드 전원이 계속 켜져 있음. IDM 릴레이를 분리하면 엔진이 꺼짐. 점화 스위치를 뽑아도 계속 작동. 퓨즈박스 쇼트 의심.

The lack of comments highlights that there isn't much feeling (read demand?) for htis.To me, that 3/4 front on view has shades of 350z, with none of the power and with that woeful boot size, hardly a main car for many.Good for them for making it, but I expect it won't be a long lifespan with it as it currently is. Launch spec or not.

Years ago, when everyone first started having phones by default - not just a novelty or luxury, you'd often see them driving whilst hold the phone to their ear talking. This was then dealt with by penalties, Police operations, and also bluetooth just becoming really common. Now, I think phone calls are less common for a lot of people. Instead, it's text messages, Instagram, Facebook, email etc. Recently, I've noticed huge numbers of people driving whilst continually looking up and down, clearly typing something on their phone. They're all sorts, Mums with kids in the car, young men on their ow

I drive a HGV for a living and see it constantly, all day, every day. It's not just people without connectivity either, even the posh cars have people holding their phone with it in loudspeaker and tapping away at the smallest opportunity. We did have one instance of our dashcam footage being asked for as a van driver had gone into the back of a car beside one of our trucks in town at some traffic lights, the footage clearly showed them texting in their lap as they hit. I think they got done but don't know for sure, probably just sued by the insurers to apportion blame. I absolutely hate s
