냉각수 교환

2010 VW Polo 1.2 디젤, 85,000km. 1년 전부터 체크 엔진 라이트 점등 및 점멸, 예열 플러그(Glow plug) 관련. 시속 90km 이상에서 출력 감소. 주행 1,500km당 엔진 오일 및 냉각수 레벨 저하. 머플러와 오일 레벨 게이지 파이프에서 백색 연기 발생. 일부 정비소에서는 피스톤 링(piston ring) 문제, 일부에서는 터보 교체 제안.

엔진오일 교환

2003 혼다 시빅, 아침에 시동 후 몇백 피트 주행 시 가솔린이 떨어지는 듯 엔진이 순간적으로 동력을 잃음. 완전히 스톨되지는 않으나 스퍼터링 현상 발생, 가속페달을 밟으면 정상 회복. 주행 초반에만 1회 발생, 이후는 정상 운행. 정비소에서 흡기 청소했으나 증상 해결 안 됨.

메인 주 극저온 환경에서 자동차가 시동이 걸리지 않음. 연료가 1/4 탱크 수준이었고, 드라이 가스(연료 건조제) 1/2병을 추가하려다가 빠르게 흘러나와서 결국 1/4 탱크에 거의 전량을 넣음. 드라이 가스 사용설명서는 최소 1/2 탱크 이상에 전량을 넣도록 권장함.

쉐보레 실버라도

2004년식 · 1세대 (1999-2006) · 5.3 LS

엔진오일 교환

2004 쉐보레 실버라도에서 주유 시 약 3달러 정도만 들어간 후 멈춤. 다시 누르면 휘발유가 역분사됨.

2006 크라이슬러 300C에서 저회전 시 간헐적인 엔진 정지 발생(신호등 정차 시 등). 회전계에서 RPM이 갑자기 떨어지며, RPM이 너무 낮아지면 엔진이 꺼짐. 조기에 대응하면 엔진 회전으로 유지 가능. 주행 중 RPM 스터링 발생하기도 하나 일반적으로 고회전에서는 회복됨. 특히 연료 주입 후에 문제 발생. 스로틀 바디 청소 후에도 지속됨.

지난 몇 주간 귀향길(200km)에서 경험한 문제입니다. 첫 1시간은 연방도로에서 90km/h 이하로 운행했고, 고속도로 진입 후 100km/h 이상의 법정 속도로 운행하려 했으나 차량이 100km/h를 넘지 못합니다. 엔진은 꺼지지 않지만 차체가 심하게 떨립니다. 100km/h 이상으로 속도를 올리려고 시도했지만 실패했고, 결국 천천히 운행하여 다음 정차지점에 도착했습니다. 정비사는 연료계통 문제를 지적했습니다.

14 VW 티구안 전동 파워 스티어링 제어 모듈 고장으로 의심됨. 차량이 전동 파워 스티어링 펌프 고장과 유사하게 느껴지며, 핸들 떨림이나 경고음은 없음. 현재 집에서 650마일 거리에 있음.

2014년 11월부터 에어컨이 제대로 작동하지 않음. 겨울철 디프로스트 설정 시 윈드쉴드에 심한 김이 서림. 에어컨이 켜져 있는 다른 차량들보다 습기가 많음. 딜러 정비사는 디프로스트 사용 시 에어컨을 꺼야 한다고 주장했으나 수동에는 이와 모순되는 내용 기재. 콘덴서 팬 활동으로 보아 디프로스트 사용 시 에어컨을 끌 수 없는 것으로 보임.

YF6 (2022-현재) · 3.5 V6 AWD 자동

엔진오일 교환

혼다 파일럿 신차, 4,000마일 주행 후 오일 체인지 라이트 점등되어 30% 표시됨. 오일이 어두운 색상으로 보임.

Not on camera, but this morning near Camberley, SJ65MJH, silver Discovery. Straight through a red light, wasn't even a close amber/red, at a t-junction. To the point it's nearly collided with me and another car who had just pulled away at our green light. I sounded my horn briefly and gestured as if to say what are you doing. To which the woman driving flicked me the bird! The sheer audacity of it! Complete with baby on board sticker and actual baby in the back!! I hope the guy in the passenger seat was suitably embarrassed and has had a word about her pathetic, entitled ways. I don't normally

And why?  Not all of these are "bad" cars but I have just never liked them for one reason or another.  So in no particular order:1) Austin Metro/Maestro - one of my best friends had both of these in sixth form and all I can say is that they were marginally better than getting the bus but had just as little cred and both seemed very dated against the competition almost as soon as they had been launched.  The MG versions can have a bye and it's not an Austin Rover thing, as I didn't mind the Montego and like Rovers in general.  I guess a tidy Austin Metro would have some FOTU cred but the Maestr
