It says a 1587 engine. Wasn't the W10 a bit smaller than that and lower bhp? Then the AW11 came with the 1587?
I've had a few over the years. My first was an utter heap of a D reg that was more rust that metal. But it was ace and taught me a lot about car maintenance. I reckon I could still drop the engine in sub two hours, even with my knees as they are these days!My 2 litre turbo (3SGTE) engine conversion at Tatton Park.Lined up next to my Supra 2.5TTRMy Supercharger - this was the 7th MR2 I'd owned by then.Test car for the original 2 litre turbo conversation I did. This one was my second, one previous owner car that I was interviewed from the seller as to how I would look after it. Since it had a tow bar fitted, I couldn't resist putting it to use occasionally! The helios blue one for sale seems expensive to me... but maybe prices have moved on that much over the years. If it were me though, I'd rather buy a good, well looked after example, so I could use it almost daily through the Summer without worrying about mileage and values. They really are great motor cars. I had a MK2 turbo too, and whilst it was a weapon, it didn't have anywhere near the same character as the MK1sEdited by sanguinary on Thursday 10th September 14:13Edited by sanguinary on Thursday 10th September 14:14

Winter 1993. On my way to the office, I'm slightly distracted by changing the music or something and I don't notice the rush hour traffic has come to a halt - I brake hard but manage to hit the Fiesta. The driver in the 7 series in front of the Fiesta hears the impact and instantly stands on the brake but inadvertently floors the throttle and careers over the road, hits the opposite fence, spins around, hits the fence on this side, then comes to a halt. His car was less than a month old.....I manage to get away with 3 points for driving without due car and a big old slice of humble pie. Ca

kambites said: It's nice apart from the wheels. The 15/16 staggered setup on the original car was about perfect, IMO. The later 16/17 was OK too. This looks ridiculous. Agreed. A few years ago I saw Porsche 992 racers on 18", which looked ridiculous. So I asked why?Because they drive so much better on 18" sir.OK, I'll have a JAS Tensei NSX on 18" please...
