Seat belts seem to be a reasonably useful function that might have had some effect on the safety of car passengers. Collapsible steering columns too, but they're not as glamorous.

Without knowing the price per litre, this (surely) has to be a positive development?The UK (and European) Governments need to have a sliding methodology towards phasing our fossil fuels entirely. This seems, on the face of it, a means to do just that, that will (should) also gain support from petrolheads.

Thanks to a fortuitous set of financial circumstances (mortgage paid off, made redundant at the back end of last year, and found a new job pretty sharpish - meaning the redundancy payout I got can be spent on a 'want', not a 'need') I have recently found myself in a position to tick off a big bucket list item for me.If we rewind back to the late 90s ... lads had their hair cut with a bowl and curtain fringes ... girl power was trying to work out what a zig-a-zig-ah was ... and a small group of mentalists were building bonkers cars in Blackpool. AGM 배터리를 LiFePO4 배터리로 교체 시 기존 충전 시스템(충전기-카배터리-VSR-서브배터리)과의 호환성 문제 우려

4기통 엔진에서 2개 실린더의 스파크플러그/분사기를 끊었을 때 엔진이 진동하고 불안정함. 노킹이나 폭발이 발생하는 것 같음.

2000 Mazda Protege 1.8L에서 2.0L JDM 엔진으로 스왑 후 자동변속기가 기어에 들어가지 않음. 엔진은 정상적으로 시동되고 아이들링도 부드러우며 회전도 잘되는 상태. 2500-3000 RPM에서 가속할 때만 가끔 기어가 들어감. 엔진 스왑 시 변속기는 분리하지 않았고 모든 전기 커넥터는 연결된 상태 유지. 라디에이터(변속기 오일 쿨러 포함) 제거 시 소량의 유체 손실 발생.

점프 스타트할 때 배터리를 연결하면 역전류(back current)가 흐르지 않을까? 배터리의 내부 저항이 매우 작으면 역전류가 크지 않을까? 이 방법이 안전한가?

엔진오일 교환

2007 미니 쿠퍼에서 후진 및 전진부에서 연기 발생. 구입 후(8/27/14) 9/9에 처음 발생했으며, 장거리 주행 시 주로 연기 발생. 단거리 주행 시에는 연기 없음. 진공 펌프 및 풀플로우 오일 필터 씰에서 배기관으로 오일이 누유되는 것으로 진단됨.

2008 지프 랭글러의 순정 헤드라이트 밝기가 부족하여 HID 라이트로 업그레이드하고 싶음. 단순히 전구만 교체하면 되는지, 아니면 추가 전자 장치 수정이 필요한지 궁금함.

2개월 장기 부재 중 자동차 배터리를 충전 상태로 유지해야 함. Black and Decker 배터리 유지 충전기 사용 검토 중이나, 차량이 개방형 처마 아래 주차되어 있고 Virginia 여름철 폭우 우려 있음.

2001 지프 그랜드 체로키 4.7L V8에서 에어컨 시스템 전체를 제거하려고 함. 특히 컴프레서를 제거할 예정. 제거 후 더 짧은 벨트를 사용할 수 있는지, 아니면 컴프레서 풀리 자리에 풀리를 장착한 브래킷을 만들어야 하는지 확인 필요.

엔진 시작 전에 기다려야 하는지에 대한 의문 - 사촌이 점화 스위치를 켜고 3초를 센 후 시동을 거는 습관에 대해 궁금함. 유체(정확히 어떤 유체인지 불명확)가 엔진에 충분히 채워질 시간을 주기 위한 것이라고 함. 예전 자동차는 키를 바로 돌려 시동을 걸면 가끔 시작 실패가 발생했으며, 지금도 몇 초 기다리는 것이 엔진에 더 좋다고 주장함.

스코다 에스텔 엔진 조립 완료 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. 엔진은 회전하지만 시동 불가. 점화코일, 점화선, 스파크플러그에서 스파크 확인됨. 캐뉼레이터에서 휘발유 분사 확인되나 휘발유 냄새 없음. 스파크플러그가 휘발유로 젖지 않음. 초크 사용해도 변화 없음. 밸브 캘리브레이션 완료, 타이밍은 그대로 유지.
