정비 사례

2004 Echo에서 스웨이 바 링크 교체 후 새로운 소음 발생. 신호에서 출발할 때나 낮은 속도에서 범프를 넘을 때 발생하며, 링크가 완전히 손상되었을 때와 유사한 소리지만 빈도는 낮고 고속도로에서 좌우 흔들림은 없음. 타이어, 타이로드 엔드, 스웨이 바 링크를 점검했으나 이상 없음. 승객석 측 링크가 규격보다 약간 느슨하지만 재조정해도 소음 지속.

89년식 마즈다 626 LX. 기어 선택봉이 기어가 들어간 상태에서도 매우 헐거움. 기어 변속은 정상이고 슬립 현상 없음. 기어가 들어간 상태에서도 선택봉을 앞뒤로 움직일 수 있음 (중립 상태처럼)

얼터네이터 교환

1994 푸조 205 TD 디젤 엔진. 인젝터 리턴 라인에서 디젤 누유 발생했던 상태. 수리 후 알터네이터가 고장남 (2년 사이 3번째). 엔진 운전 중 12.5V 출력, 여자 회로(Exciter) 6~7V, 배터리 경고등이 엔진 운전 중에도 약간 켜짐. 디젤 누유가 알터네이터를 파괴하는 메커니즘이 무엇인지, 수리 가능 여부 확인 필요.

97 Corolla Levin 엔진 스왑 작업 중 엔진(트랜스미션 제거됨)을 안전하게 고정하고 작업할 수 있는 방법을 찾는 중. 현재 타이어와 팔렛 위에 놓여있는 상태. 일반 엔진 스탠드는 사용 불가능하고, 엔진 크레인으로 계속 달아놓고 작업하는 것보다 더 안전하고 효율적인 방법이 필요함.

브레이크 디스크 교환

2013 혼다 시빅 LX에서 제동 시 진동 발생. 혼다 정품 로터와 패드를 교체한 후 역주행 및 전진 중 제동 시 큰 금속 노킹음 발생. 조향 방향을 바꿀 때마다 한 번씩 노킹음 발생. 며칠 후 제동 시 진동이 재발생하고 연속적인 금속 클릭음 발생.

엔진오일 교환

2003 포드 익스플로러 리미티드 V6 4 플렉스 연료, 142,000마일. 약 6개월 전부터 콜드 스타트 문제 발생. 시동이 걸리지 않음(모든 계기판 불이 들어오고 경고음이 나지만 엔진이 시동되지 않음). 시동이 걸린 후에도 실속되거나 실속될 뻔함(실속은 일정하지 않음). 외부 온도가 50°F 이상이면 정상적으로 시동됨. 온도가 내려갈수록 시동에 더 많은 회전 필요. 32°F에서는 10분 이상 시동 시도 가능. 시동 후 엔진은 정상 작동함.

Maruti Suzuki 800 해치백 (F8B MPFI 엔진). 배터리: Exide 35AH (2.5년 경과, OCV 12.92V). 위치: 인도 나그푸르, 주간 기온 44°C. 2017년 11월/12월경 고속 주행 중 급격한 레벨 변화 후 엔진이 갑자기 정지. 타이밍 벨트 손상으로 진단됨 (약 70,000km 주행). 클러치도 교체됨. 간헐적으로 시동 후 엔진 회전이 갑자기 올라가고 심하게 떨림. 증상은 무작위로 발생하며 정비소에서는 재현 불가.

엔진오일 교환

2003 Escape 3.0L V6, 149,000마일, 4x4. 3주 전부터 차량 후방에서 매우 강한 휘발유 냄새 발생. 주차 후에만 냄새 발생. 다른 곳에서는 냄새 없음. 순정 연료 캡을 애프터마켓 제품으로 교체했을 때 2-3일간 냄새 사라졌다가 재발생. 베이퍼 냄새가 매우 강해서 실내차고 출입문을 몇 시간 열어야 함. 연비는 정상이고 아이들링 부드러우며 가속 시 출력 손실 없음.

브레이크 패드 교환

2000 쉐보레 실버라도 1500(4.8L 엔진) - 브레이크 페달에 압력이 없음. 마스터 실린더, 스테인레스 스틸 브레이크 라인(마스터에서 ABS, 네 바퀴까지), ABS 컨트롤 모듈을 모두 새것으로 교체했지만 문제 지속. 브레이크는 작동하지만 페달 압력이 없음.

Volvo makes safe cars which are not only the bare minimum in passing NCAP but offer real safety.For example crashing into a stopped lorry at 40mph I am sure there will be no intrusion into the Volvo cabin. I bought a registration and haven’t assigned it to my own car so the retention document is still in the previous owner’s name. Can I sell the registration on without having assigned it to my own car or do I have to first get the registration in my name before selling it? Ideally I’d like to avoid the £80 fee.
