I was looking at the latest news about Tesla's Cybertruck, and how the whole project is basically that episode of The Simpsons where a company gets Homer to design a car. Elon Musk has now said that making it profitable and scaling its production is going to be really difficult so it could all be quite damaging for Tesla, financially speaking.That said, despite the thread title I don't believe Cybertruck is going to kill Tesla - pre-orders suggest it'll sell well and their fans are pseudo-religious - but it got me wondering about models that had failed so badly that they threatened or even kil

2010 아큐라 TL SH-4WD의 타이어 공기압 정상 범위 확인. 최근 딜러에서 윈터 타이어 교체. 뒷 오른쪽 타이어 압력이 뒷 왼쪽과 앞 타이어들보다 지속적으로 높음. 주행 조건: 섭씨 5도(체감 0도), 시내도로, 트렁크에 올시즌 타이어를 실었으며 무게 중심이 오른쪽으로 편향됨.

2001 미쓰비시 몬테로 앞 우측 휠웰에서 가속할 때 큰 쉬쉬거리는 음 발생. 공원 상태에서 시동을 걸고 3500rpm까지 가속해도 음이 나지 않음. 모든 진공 호스를 시각적으로 검사했으나 이상 없음. 기어에 넣었을 때만 큰 쉬쉬거리는 음이 발생. 음은 가압된 공기가 빠져나가는 것처럼 들림. RPM에 맞춰 맥동하며 연속적인 분사 소리가 아님.

배터리 교환

2010 현대 투싼이 시동 후 5-10초 뒤에 꺼지는 현상이 3월/4월부터 간헐적으로 발생. 최근 악화 추세. 지난주 재시동 후 엔진 경고등(MIL) 점등. MAP 센서 교체 후에도 증상 지속. 엔진이 약간 더 부드러워졌으나 문제는 여전함.

타이어 벽면에 부풀어 오른 돌출부가 보임. 탈장처럼 타이어 표면에서 튀어나온 모양의 불완전함이나 약한 부분이 있음.

휠 토우인/토우아웃 설정이 주행에 영향을 주는 이유를 이해하지 못함. 토우인 설정이 있으면 직진 주행 시 양쪽 휠이 사선 방향으로 움직이는 것처럼 느껴져서 의도한 직진 주행과 맞지 않는 것 같음.

1997 GMC Yukon 5.7L. 시동 시 총성 같은 음향 발생, 연기가 실내로 유입. PCV 밸브와 밸브 커버에 연결된 센서 1개가 불어나감. 재시동 후 주행 가능하나 공회전이 불안정함.

지난 2주간 인테이크 매니폴드와 가속페달 근처에서 지저귀는 소리(chirping sound)가 발생. 소리가 간헐적으로 발생하며, 1주일 전 저속 주차장 탈출 시 시동이 꺼짐. 극저온 날씨였기에 드라이 가스 투입 후 엔진 스터블링과 시동 꺼짐 증상이 일시적으로 호전됨. 오늘 월마트 주차장 탈출 시 다시 여러 번 시동 꺼짐 발생. 지저귀는 소리 시작과 함께 시동 꺼짐이 직결되어 있으며, 소리 발생 시 엔진이 '죽어가는' 상태로 변함.

2006 Pontiac G6 3.5 V6, 155,000마일. 부드러운 정지 중 ABS가 작동하고 브레이크 페달이 진동. 가속 전 ABS와 트랙션 컨트롤 경고등 점등. 40℉, 젖은 도로 상황, 냉각수 온도는 정상. 퓨즈는 모두 정상. 지난 며칠간 경고등이 켜졌다 꺼졌다 반복. 범프를 지날 때, 시동 걸 때, 그리고 컨트롤을 누를 때 점등/소등.

목적지 도착 후 노킹 음 발생. 첫 점검 시 딥스틱에 오일 없음 - 5쿼트 주입 후 정상 작동했으나 다음 목적지에서 다시 노킹 발생. 그 이후에도 반복적으로 노킹 발생(매번 오일 있음). 노킹음은 주행 중에는 없고 감속할 때만 발생. 경고등 없음. 누유 흔적 없음. 배기가스에서 탄 오일 냄새 없음.

닛산 알티마

2006년식 · 3세대 (2002-2006) · 2.5 S

얼터네이터 교환

엔진을 오래 돌린 후 시동이 걸리지 않으며, 냉각될 때까지 기다려야 다시 시동됨. 엔진은 과열되지 않고 크랭킹은 되지만 시동이 걸리지 않음.
