A week ago I wasn't looking for a new car!This one came about after needing to borrow a horse trailer last weekend as my wife hadn't renewed the insurance on the lorry (a '95 iveco 7.5t so a bit of an old sl*g) and I bet her she'd wish she had a trailer again.. 차량 세척 중 물이 들어간 후 시동을 끄고 키를 빼도 ECU가 계속 부팅과 셧다운을 반복. 히터, 라이트, 인디케이터, 도어락이 계속 켜졌다 꺼졌다를 반복. 배터리를 분리했다가 다음날 다시 연결해도 같은 증상 발생. 엔진 구동 중에만 스캔 가능했으며 여러 모듈에서 'failed to communicate' 에러 발생. 엔진 자체는 정상 작동하고 결함 코드 없음.

스바루 삼바 디아스 밴(TV) - 배터리 고정 브래킷 도장 작업 중 비가 내려서 사진을 못 찍었음. 배터리 트레이와 주변 부위는 방청제(러스트 킬러) & 샤시 블랙 도장을 했으나, 스테이(브래킷)에는 도장을 빠뜨렸음.

최근에 구매한 Maverick의 캡리스(무뚜껑) 연료 주입구에 대한 궁금증. 주입 호스가 삽입될 때 밀려나가는 플라스틱 핑거들이 있으며, 진정한 밀폐가 되지 않는 것처럼 보임. 이런 시스템이 기존의 연료 캡보다 나은지 궁금함.

2012 마즈다3에서 타이어 공기압 경고등이 켜짐. 타이어 공기압이 10-15psi 떨어진 상태. 공기를 넣어도 다음날 다시 압력이 내려감. 완전히 펑크되지는 않지만 서서히 새고 있는 상태.

에어컨 가스 충전

시동 직후 에어컨 컴프레서가 정상 작동하며, 유휴 운전 5-10분간 정상 작동하고, 주행 중 처음 몇 분간 정상 작동함. 약 10분 주행 후 에어컨 및 컴프레서가 꺼짐. 냉각액 충전량은 정상으로 보임. 냉시동 상태에서 냉각액 게이지가 45 PSI를 나타냄. 중앙 접속함 내 에어컨 15A 퓨즈 교체 완료함.

토크 렌치로 휠 너트를 풀 때 손상될 수 있다는 조언을 받음. 토크 렌치는 조이기만 하는 데 사용해야 하는 이유가 궁금함.

여러 해가 지난 스페어 타이어 사용 시의 위험성에 대한 문의. 미사용 스페어 타이어(space-saver)도 일반 타이어와 같은 열화를 겪는지 확인 요청. 2006년식 VW 투아렉의 미사용 스페어 타이어 교체 권장사항 관련.

에어컨 가스 충전

2006 Honda CR-V의 에어컨이 반복적으로 고장남. '블랙 데스(Black Death)' 현상으로 AC 시스템 전체에 검은 칩(debris)이 감염됨. 컴프레셀 교체 비용 약 $1650. 지금까지 컴프레셀 3개 교체했으며, 첫 번째는 즉시 고장, 두 번째는 1년 사용 후 고장.

1997 Chevy C2500 5.7L에서 새 AC 컴프레서, AC 응축기, AC 매니폴드 호스(흡입/토출)를 장착하고 진공 및 충전 후 45분간 매우 차가운 냉풍이 나오다가 컴프레서 클러치가 끊김. 클러치가 멈췄을 때 저압 게이지 ~40psi, 고압 게이지 ~245psi, 외부 온도 약 95°F. 처음 45분 동안 컴프레서는 계속 작동.

2013 코롤라 - 고속도로에서 45분 주행 후 확인. 엔진 시동 상태로 P(주차)에서 측정. 깨끗한 천으로 디스틱을 닦은 후 삽입하여 확인. 액체가 여러 곳에서 투명해서 트랜스미션 오일 레벨을 정확히 판단하기 어려움.
