More stringent driving tests could be one thing, restrictions on power by age etc etc. When I did my HGV licence the test in that was a complete joke. No wonder you have fresh passes hitting bridges and getting stuck almost daily. That still doesn't change the fact that cars like this RR are far too heavy regardless if it has an engine or an electric motor. When a passenger car is banned from using certain bridges. The longest trip I m ever likely to do in it is to a holiday place in The Highlands that we go to once a year. I haven t done this trip yet but the route planner says I need to stop to charge for 14 minutes in a journey of 409 miles that s going to take over 7 hours. For the convenience of not visiting petrol stations for the entire rest of the year this is worth it for me. Admittedly it has destination charging which makes planning easier.I don t care what the fuel/electricity costs but I do care if I m going to be inconvenienced by charging, especially with family and friends in the car, I really don t think I m going to be though. We always stop at least twice when we do this trip to let the dog walk. I ll combine one of those stops with a charge.Yup. If such a drive is anomalous then it doesn't matter but preference plays an absolutely essential role when paying a lot for a premium car. My preference is to not compromise on speed and to remain free to travel at whatever I pace I decide there and then. Being dictated to by a box on wheels that I've paid for doesn't feature in any kind of reward or pleasure list. Nor does being guided where and when to stop by that object. I expect to stop when I want to and where I want to. And finally, I never think leaving the motorway for the run into and through the boonies is best done without plenty of range available. With all of this in mind that is why, for me, the most important detail of this car is how far you can get at whatever speed you want and leaving plenty of range and whether that number fits comfortably with the times that you'd like to take a break. For example, my semi regular runs to the Highlands, I can reach a nice venue off the motorway for a chilled breakfast at around the 200 mile mark. That is easily done I'm sure with this particular car but maybe not if that section after Liverpool i

A few years ago I saw Porsche 992 racers on 18", which looked ridiculous. So I asked why?Because they drive so much better on 18" sir.OK, I'll have a JAS Tensei NSX on 18" please...
