정비소에서 Mobil Super 3000 5W-40 엔진오일을 교환했는데, 차량 매뉴얼에서 Multi Air 시스템은 ACEA C3 이하 등급 또는 5W-40 이외의 SAE 등급 오일 사용 시 엔진 손상 가능성이 있다고 명시되어 있음. 사용된 오일은 ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4 API SN/SM AAE (STO 003) Group B6만 충족하며 ACEA C 등급 표기 없음.

Over 3 months into M3 ownership now, and I'm pleased to report that it's been a very happy 3 months with the exception of the fuel bill being more horrendous than expected thanks to a certain President's actions in the Middle East. A few weeks ago it went into Redish Motorsport for new fuel injectors and an NRW Inline Fuel Filter. Not a cheap job, but every time I put my foot down the mental image of an injector sticking open and writing off the engine weighed on my mind, and unless my circumstances dramatically change I plan on owning this car for a long while so it seemed worth the money. 96년식 머스탱 GT, 4.6L V8 엔진. 몇 개월 전 과열 사건 후(히터 호스 피팅이 카본 파이버 인테이크 매니폴드에서 빠짐 - 수리 완료) 엔진 오일 경고등 점등. 오일 레벨이 매우 낮아 디프스틱에 거의 표시 안 됨. 2.5쿼트 보충하여 풀 마크까지 올림. 엔진은 정상 작동하고 과열 문제 없음. 다음날 조금 운행 후 문제 재발.
