증상
2006 도요타 픽업트럭과 2000 머스탕이 배터리 방전 상태. 배터리 케이블이 제대로 연결되어 있음. 1) 픽업트럭에서 점프를 받을 수 없음 - 전류 흐름 없음. 하지만 픽업트럭 자체는 정상 시동됨. 2) 점프 시도 후 픽업트럭 아이들이 내려가지 않음 - 아이들이 계속 떨어져서 꺼질 지경. 퓨즈, 릴레이, 전기계통에는 문제 없음. 점프 시도 후 스로틀 아이들 설정만 손실됨. 기술자가 스로틀을 리셋하고 플러시했으며, 서지(순간 전압)가 발생했을 가능성이 있다고 함.
처리 내용
기술자가 스로틀 바디를 작업한 후 시동 얼마 안 되어 꺼진다면 아이들 조정만 필요한 것으로 보임. 먼저 청소가 필요하겠지만 이미 완료되었다면 아이들만 조정하면 됨. 픽업트럭은 스로틀 케이블 방식으로 추정됨. 스로틀 바디의 노란 화살표가 가리키는 나사를 조정하면 됨 - 7~8mm(또는 10mm) 스패너와 3~4mm 육각 렌치 필요. 너트를 풀고 나사를 1/2바퀴 정도 돌려 시동 걸기. 꺼지면 추가로 1/2바퀴 더 돌릴 것. 3분간 워밍업한 후 천천히 나사를 풀어냄. 엔진음이 부드럽고 떨림이나 과회전이 없어지면 너트를 조임. 완료.

Winter 1993.
