obennett"The interesting part is how different the experience is depending on use case. ... while long trips and charging access still push plenty of people toward hybrids or petrol."I think what pushes people towards hybrids or petrol/hybrid is primarily anxiety, fear of the unknown, the mental comfort of habit and the mindless repetition of unfounded `wisdom'.The misinformation funded by fossil fuel and legacy ICE industries deliberately plant and enflame concerns and this is coupled to the strong financial self-interest on the part of car dealers who understand that BEVs provide much less
Tiglon said: Observation on used prices. At the beginning of May I sold my diesel Yeti for £3,800. I listed it just below the next cheapest of similar spec/age/mileage/condition and it sold within about 3 days. There are now 2 comparable Yetis listed for less than that on Autotrader. WBAC now offer £1,250 for my old Yeti. The same week I bought a Mini Cooper SE for £9,000. It had been listed for about 6 months (there were plenty more at the same price). The cheapest comparable listing now on Autotrader is £10,633. WBAC offer £9,000 for my car, even though it's done 5k miles since I bought it.Diesels going down, EVs going up (even those with short range). I put the details of my BMW i3 and my Sister's Tesla MY into Motorway's car price tracker and it shows both going up in value -+13.5% and 11.3% in the last 6months!

Some other manufacturers like Volvo and Mercedes were well known for them tooHowever, this evening I randomly found the following image of a Talbot Solaro, and it got me thinking about what other cars are there where headlight wipers were availableA few others that spring to mind:Any other obscure ones?

Priced at £5000 less with some stonking finance deals, it should have done better.....but was it just too expensive to build? The big gap between the outgoing cars and the new one is a good idea and possibly intentional to create the biggest possible impact. I think this is going to do very well indeed. I'm looking forward to it, and seeing my first one on the road. If they couldn't build cars well enough to compete with Audi, BMW, and Mercedes or lo

I've got my Phaeton with the 6HP to do soon, a bit more involved as a job, but it's already had a box and a torque converter in the last 50k, so it hasn't been left forever without maintenance - I've heard the 6HP19s seem to like to give trouble! It's my first torque converter auto (in 70 cars of manuals, and 1 DSG!)If I'd kept my old E320cdi I'd have certainly ended up getting the gearbox serviced. I bought it with 104k on

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
