디젤 엔진이 시작 전에 워밍업이 필요한 이유는 무엇인가?
디젤 엔진은 가솔린 엔진과 달리 스파크 플러그가 아닌 압축으로 연소하기 때문에, 열이 연소실에서의 디젤 연소에 직접 관여합니다. 피스톤이 올라올 때 실린더 내의 공기를 압축하여 열을 발생시킵니다. 엔진이 냉각 상태일 때는 이 열의 대부분이 실린더 헤드, 피스톤, 실린더 벽으로 흩어집니다. 엔진이 연소하려면 이 열이 필요하기 때문에 다른 곳에서 공급받아야 합니다. 처음 점화를 켜면 글로우 플러그(glow plugs)라고 불리는 작은 부품들이 연소실을 가열하여 연소가 일어날 수 있도록 준비합니다. 글로우 플러그가 작동할 시간을 주기 위해 5초가 필요합니다. 이 과정이 없으면 디젤이 엔진에 고여 시동이 매우 어려워질 수 있습니다. 실제 손상은 발생하지 않지만, 시동이 걸리는 데 매우 오랜 시간이 소요될 수 있습니다.

Congratulations!The wheels are FPS ones I believe. If you get 6 inch cromodoras they could well rub the arch. For a 1.3 the 5.5 inch cromodora wheels fit without problem. If you buy originals bear in mind there is magnesium content so be cautious about getting them refinished. I'm truly 50/50 bumpers on or off!Also, be careful about the small black canister which you top up the oil with. They can get rust particles especially if the car hasn't been used, and they then find their way into the lovely engine......There are many other useful tips on the Lancia Club forum.Edited by Fessia fancier o
