증상
VW Golf IV 주차 후 밤새 타이어 내측에 유성 액체 발견. 확인 결과 브레이크액 누출로 판단됨.
처리 내용
브레이크액 누출은 심각한 문제이므로 즉시 점검 필요. 엔진룸의 브레이크액 저수지 확인 (액체량 및 냄새 확인). 후륜 브레이크라인과 호스를 따라 브레이크 캘리퍼 연결부에서 누출 흔적 점검. 브레이크액은 강력한 용제이므로 휠 허브의 먼지와 그리스를 함께 운반할 수 있음. 기술자가 손상된 브레이크 실린더/캘리퍼를 중고부품으로 교체할 계획. 저속으로 정비소(10km 거리)로 주행하여 점검받을 것.

약 1만 마일 전에 워터펌프 어셈블리, 엔진 오일 쿨러, 냉각수 저수조를 교체하고 엔진을 플러시했습니다. 고객이 2천 마일 전부터 냉각수 누수를 호소했고, 워터펌프의 뒷부분 벨트 부근에서 누수가 발견되었습니다.
32년 후 순정 머플러에 균열이 생기기 시작했습니다.
16v was a real performance car. I don’t know how they sold so many 8v cars, when back in the mid 80’s you could get a Fiat Strada 130 TC Abarth or Lancia Delta 1.6 HF Turbo for similar money.
