Lefty said: Superb issue this month, lovely to see the Cerbera get reviewed (and do so well). It's STILL not in The Knowledge. Come on chaps, we know you dip in and out of this thread, sort it out!! Have to say, every one of the cars in the 90's test would have a spot in my lotto win dream garage. Really enjoyed the podcast on YT with Harry M too. I still maintain they should do them in the pub though.Glad to see they have corrected this
Lefty said: I just spent an hour or so with the latest issue (350). I don't know why i didn't put much effort into it in the first few days it arrived, i think i had enjoyed 349 so much i didn't have great expectations. In my head the 00's were less exciting than the 90's.What a great issue. I forgot the Ford GT had won ECOTY and it's only become more enticing over the years. Great piece that. Also, the new Mustang, where else can you get a naturally aspirated rwd v8 with a manual box for (well) under £100k? One of the very few new cars i want to own. Enjoyed the opinion pieces - and they resonate. My son is a bit older than Porters but he has no interest in modern supercars or hypercars (or megacars). Meaden too, I'm firmly in the restomod > new supercar camp.Tell you what, the M3 v RS5 test shows just how damn ugly modern cars are. Both of them. I know it's subjective but Urgh.Maybe it's just me because here's an unpopular opinion, I don't like the styling of the mk1 Vanquish. From some angles, fabulous. It's the way that rear haunch is blended into the door, looks fat and clumsy. Also, the interior is bland - sure it's a few years earlier than the DB9/V8 Vantage but those really moved the game on and still look amazing to this day.Evo have got into a groove of some really, really enjoyable tests in the last 12-18 months or so. Given the material you have to work with from the new market it's remarkable. I think i said in a previous post on this thread a while ago that it could morph into a combination of [traditional evo, Octane, the old Modern Classics and they're doing a fine job. I love the retrospective stuff, the tests over the decades, testing old versions of the same cars with modern equivalents etc. Honestly, i think evo is better than ever and in a time when print mags seem to be dying on thir arses it's very impressive.I presume they'll continue the Eras series after they complete the supercars one? There's hot hatches, sports saloons and possibly o

All due respect to the current Puma, which is a decent car that drives well, but there is only one in my eyes.I had a Mk1 Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver when I was 21 as my daily car. I loved how it drove and went everywhere in it, and the car was sort of part of the reason my partner & I got together. I ended up selling it to move on to something else, as we usually do at that fickle age, but I've always hankered after another.I've viewed many Puma's that have promised to be amazing, only to be let down by predictable corrosion (a notable one being a 9k mile example a few years ago that had a fi

A few years ago I saw Porsche 992 racers on 18", which looked ridiculous. So I asked why?Because they drive so much better on 18" sir.OK, I'll have a JAS Tensei NSX on 18" please...
