증상
2017 Toyota Yaris Hatchback가 시동 문제 발생. 크랜킹 전압 강하 테스트 결과 최저 7V까지 떨어짐. 배터리를 SuperStart 배터리로 교체 후 정상 작동했으나, 3개월간 차량을 방치(배터리 분리 미실시) 후 반환. 3주간은 정상이었으나 이후 배터리가 야간에 만충전에서 반충전까지 방전됨. 배터리 터미널 점검 및 청소 완료.
처리 내용
신품 배터리를 3개월간 방치하면 배터리가 손상될 수 있음. 신품 배터리는 일반적으로 차량 시동에 필요한 충전량으로 출고되며, 이후 정상적인 주행을 통해 완전히 충전되어야 함. 장시간 방치 시 시계, 알람 등 차량의 지속적인 전기 소비로 배터리가 방전됨. 향후 3개월 이상 차량을 사용하지 않을 경우, 배터리를 분리하여 보관하고 따뜻한 장소에서 보관한 후 재장착할 것을 권장.

Winter 1993.
