Finally fitted the 'Roadtop' Android Auto box over the weekend, after a failed attempt at fitting it in February, which saw it languish in a draw for months.I found that these Linux based boxes are much more reliable, having experienced an Android OS'd one in my wife's old X1 previously - then trying a Linux box in her current 2 series which has been great. There are lots of options on the market for the older iDrive units, the 'Evo' iDrive in the LCI 6 series seems less common. Roadtop (and good old AliExpress) to the rescue.Fitting it was still a t*at, the little box now has a home underneath the glovebox, with the (thankfully long) cable harnesses travelling down there and back again from the headunit.Et voila-

My other half's car for the last 5 years has been a Mercedes ML350cdi. To it's credit it's was one of the most comfortable cars we've owned. Incredibly practical for a family of five but it was becoming costly. Last year we spent £1k on incidental repairs not including servicing etc. This year the A/C pump packed up but it also developed a timing chain rattle on cold. Frustrating as it only had 104k on it, full service history too but a timing chain replacement was an engine out job, £4k+ and even a local specialist wouldn't do the job. It was likely a tensioner but either way it sealed it's f

2014 Corolla LE에서 가속, 제동, 기어 변속 시 대시보드 중앙 통풍구 근처에서 딸깍거리는 소음 발생. 냉기 때 소음 감소. AC를 켜면 소음이 사라짐. AC 버튼 조작 시 가끔 소음 발생.
