Great shed, you do not get many of these to the pound. I’d say, just buy it then deal with issues in due course. Could just leave the drop top bit, if expensive, and run it as a nice coupe!

These dont have the ABC suspension, so thats one big failure point removed, I mean normal suspension can fail but not like ABC can !Engine and gearbox is pretty standard stuff.Roof, yeah, can be a problem but there is knowledge out there, failing that, you have a lovely coupe.I could, with a bit of work get that sorted, they are complex but this is a starter model, smaller engine, no ABC. Would have that drivers seat out and re coated, better set of wheels on it and just go through it.The danger is buying one at proper money with ABC and going through the pain. Old Mercs arent that bad, I have a mate who has 5 of them....
