트rickle charger의 음극 클립을 배터리 음극 단자에 연결해야 하는지, 아니면 차체 접지에 연결해야 하는지 불명확함
처리 내용
음극 클립을 방전된 배터리의 음극 단자에 직접 연결하면 안 됩니다. 대신 엔진 블록이나 차체 프레임의 깨끗하고 페인트가 벗겨진 부분에 연결하세요. 납축전지는 화학 반응의 부산물로 수소 가스를 발생시키는데, 음극 단자 근처에서 불꽃이 튈 경우 폭발할 수 있습니다. 수소 가스는 물이 증발하면서 납판이 변형될 때 내부에서도 발생할 수 있습니다. 차체 접지에 연결하면 발생 가능한 불꽃이나 아크를 수소 가스 근처에서 멀리 유지할 수 있으므로 안전합니다.

Winter 1993.
