Had a 13 plate from new. Looked just like the F1 safety car they were running then. Silver car, silver wheels, black leather and no tintsWonderful thing with an epic engine and soundtrack. Traction wasn't great and it would spin its wheels pretty easily coming out of junctions etc. Did a track day at brands in it soon after getting and remember it being bonkers fast down the straights but got spanked in the corners by all the clios!Sold it because it was really a second car and it didnt quite feel special enough... Would have another. probably a 507.. Should have bought a black series when they were decent money!

Had one in non AMG trim in this colour. Apparently there was something wrong with this batch of paint, ours ended up with a full respray courtesy of MBUK. Luckily we didnt have to spend much time driving it back and forth from the dealer because it was usually there anyway for the many other things that went wrong with it.Lovely engine, wouldnt touch this era of Mercedes with a barge pole!
