증상
2005 혼다 시빅 EX, 냉각수에서 배기 냄새가 남. 지난 한 달간 냉각수가 서서히 누수되고 과열 발생. 마지막 냉각수 보충 후 3주 동안 지속. 마지막 과열 시 냉각수 저장소가 가득 차 있었으나 갈색 빛깔의 냉각수 발견. 배기 냄새 후 헤드 개스킷 교체 완료. 교체 후 P2646 코드 발생 - 오일 부족 또는 누락 의심.
처리 내용
배기관에서 냉각수 냄새가 나면 냉각수가 연소실로 누수되어 연소되고 배기로 배출되는 것. 냉각수가 연소실로 유입되는 유일한 원인은 헤드 개스킷 또는 흡기 매니폴드 개스킷 손상. 개스킷 손상 위치와 심각도에 따라 증상이 다름. 냉각수가 엔진으로 누수되지만 오일로는 누수되지 않는 경우, 오일 수분 혼합이나 수분 오염이 없을 수 있음. 소량의 누수로 인해 흰 연기가 적고 냄새만 나는 상황으로 보임. 헤드 개스킷 교체 후 P2646 코드는 엔진 오일 부족 또는 오일 레벨 센서 문제를 의미. 교체 후 엔진 오일 레벨을 확인하고 필요시 규정량까지 오일 보충 필요. 오일 누수 여부도 확인하고, 필요시 센서 교체 또는 진단 필요.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for £21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights.For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
