증상
2008 Chevy Impala LTZ 우측 프론트 휠 허브 교체 작업 중 우측 프론트 휠 허브 장착 볼트 중 하나가 심하게 고착되어 있음. 일반 소켓으로는 볼트 헤드를 제대로 물지 못함. 해머와 금속봉으로 탭핑 시도, 토치로 가열 시도 모두 실패. 볼트에 접근성이 매우 제한적이어서 임팩트 렌치 사용 불가능.
처리 내용
Bolt-Out 소켓 세트를 사용할 것을 권장. 이 소켓은 볼트 헤드에 탭으로 끼워진 후, 너트를 풀 때 소켓 내부의 홈(flutes)이 회전 각도가 증가할수록 볼트 헤드를 더욱 강하게 물어줌. 이 방식으로 고착되고 손상된 볼트 헤드도 제거 가능.

VW Golf 4가 주차 중 엔진이 켜져 있고 에어컨이 고속으로 작동 중이었으나 차 내부에는 아무도 없었음. 키가 삽입되어 있는지 확인할 수 없었음. 차량이 도난되지 않으려면 키가 삽입되어 있어야 할 것 같은데, 키 없이 엔진을 계속 구동할 수 있도록 개조된 차량일 가능성이 있는지 확인하고 싶음.

2005 Ford Explorer XLS Sport, 80,000마일 미만. 랜덤하게 스터터링, 점프 현상 발생 후 RPM이 낮아지면서 시동 꺼짐. 아침에는 안 생기고 장시간 주행 후에도 안 생김. 신호등이나 주차장 등 예측 불가능한 타이밍에 발생.
