Many years ago, when my 3 lads were a lot younger, we were in this exact position, what single car could we get...I actually ended up with a Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon (80 series), plenty of room for the whole family, only 1 big bill in the 10 years I had it. And I have to say for the family trip down to the south of France every year, the best vehicle I ever did that trip in.P.P.S. Now that all the kids have grown up, one still at home, I actually share his and the wifes very mundane (Yeti and Clio) cars, but have an e46 M3 that is my toy sitting in the garage for the good times. Hopefully, once he's left home, I'll be able to get a big old barge of some description to go with the M3, should make a nice pairing in my mind.It was a bit judgey(and I can be terrible for that), but I didn't really mean it like that though. I just don't like the idea of only 1 car, although I am fortunate regarding that don't get me wrong as you say. Even years back I found a way to run something else alongside the 200SX(it was only a sheddy Mondeo though). But no kids back then though. Plus a few years later,
