I was looking at the latest news about Tesla's Cybertruck, and how the whole project is basically that episode of The Simpsons where a company gets Homer to design a car. 2005 푸조 307 해치백. 5월에 헤드 개스킷 교체 후 3,000km 주행. 교체 당시 오일 누유 있었고 냉각수가 오염됨. 냉각수 완전히 세척되지 않음. 2주 전 냉각수와 오일 점검 시 냉각수 양호, 오일 보충함. 현재 냉각수가 다시 검은색 마시멜로우 같은 색상으로 변하고 오염되며 오일이 섞여있음. 외부 오일 누유 없고 오일 레벨은 2주 전과 동일함.

엔진이 실행 중일 때 오일 캡을 제거하고 오일 필 홀에서 나오는 공기(블로우바이)의 양을 확인. 2020년식 코롤라에서 이전에 확인한 2000~2010년식 차량들보다 훨씬 강한 바람이 나옴. 렌탈카이므로 관리가 잘 안 되었을 가능성이 있지만, 저 마일리지의 코롤라가 이렇게 빠르게 엔진이 망가질 수 있는지 의문.

휠 토우인/토우아웃 설정이 주행에 영향을 주는 이유를 이해하지 못함. 토우인 설정이 있으면 직진 주행 시 양쪽 휠이 사선 방향으로 움직이는 것처럼 느껴져서 의도한 직진 주행과 맞지 않는 것 같음.

2012 Ford Figo 디젤 엔진이 장거리 운행 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. 냉간 시동은 잘 걸림.

2005 Chevy Malibu (LS, 3.5L V6)가 저회전에서 가끔 꺼짐. 연료탱크가 가득 찼을 때만 발생하며, 연료량이 3/4 이상으로 떨어지면 문제 해결됨. 2월경 연료펌프 교체 후 시작된 문제.

냉각수 교환

일요일에 사용하지 않은 차량을 월요일 오전 8:30에 시동을 걸려고 했으나 시동이 걸리지 않음. 쿨란트가 완전히 없었음을 확인. 오후 4:30에 점프스타트로 시동 시작, 15분 운전 후 15분 뒤 재시동 성공. 수요일 오전 8:30에 다시 시동 불가. 쿨란트 부족으로 인한 엔진 손상 우려.

케블라 사용 타이어의 장점이 무엇인지 알고 싶음. 전통적인 재료로 만든 타이어와 비교하여 케블라 타이어의 실질적인 이점을 파악하고 싶음.

2011 HHR 검사 불합격 - 브레이크 적용 시 운전석 타이어가 앞뒤로 움직임. 가속 또는 브레이크 시 차량이 옆으로 약간 흔들리거나 미끄러지는 현상 발생. 두 증상이 연관되어 있음.
