Had to pop into GP Sevens today for a few bits. As usual 7s everywhere. Managed to cure my creak and get concencus we were okay then also moved the ignition barrell slightly so I didn't knock the key with my knee and turn the car off again. Then proceeded to use the rest of my day off to enjoy the sun. As we're plenty of other people like this guy... Was using a bit of oil as I could almost taste it. Finally you forget just how upright a 7 screen is and bugs absolutely pepper it. In two weeks we're off to the Taffia Fish and Chip run.

This is based on the Stelvio which is based on the Giulia’s Georgio platform which is phenomenal. Sporty but comfortable and engaging, something that few, if any, rivals match. Quality concerns are also about 15 years out of date… If I was in the market for a car like this I’d have it over the Germans any day.

Maybe this is a silly question, but what is the technical definition of the "front" vs. the "rear" of the engine? On my vehicle, from the context of part names, the "front" is the side with the timing belt and the other belts, the alternator, compressor, p/s pump. The "rear" is the side with the flywheel, clutch, transmission, VTEC solenoid (it's a Honda). Relative to the vehicle itself the "front" is on the driver's side and the "rear" is on the passenger side. Which side of an arbitrary engine is the "front", in general? E.g. is it always the timing belt side? The side opposite the transmiss

Saw this posted by wjs1968 on the ‘cool classic car spotters thread’.It got me thinking…In theory, could you remove a plate like this onto another car?…and if so, what style of replacement reg would the car get?

Can’t think of a better looking car with 4 usable seats. Hopefully the exhaust note is improved and they offer some good deals to actually sell some more this time.

Seems like a good time to make a thread on this seeing as I've owned it over 3 weeks and have already managed to put something like 1300 miles on it- despite my justification for buying a 4.0 V8 being that my personal mileage was likely to decrease... After 4 very happy and enjoyable years with an E82 125i Coupe I was starting to properly get the bug to move on to something else. I'd had a great time with that car but had got everything I wanted out of owning it (including a very fun trip over to the Nurburgring), and was struggling to see the value for money in putting any more money into it

With the current A4 Avant having served Mrs89 well as a great allrounder... mechanically she's been without fault and has proved her worth. Exterior wise, she has suffered and looks great from 10 feet away but there's a complaint on every panel... the nail in the coffin was a side swipe from an errant deer (it didn't end well for the deer) the time has come to say farewell....Wanting something bigger as her car is the family wagon as we all can't fit in the S5...This arrives Saturday morningit's a 2010, 3.0TDi, so the substantially cheaper tax bracket...needs tyres (ordered a set of Nankangs)o

The 2013 Honda Accord has both 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder cars, however, only the 4 cylinder cars have a continuously variable transmission (CVT). I was wondering... is there any particular reason for this?
