사이펀 튜브로 엔진 오일을 빼낸 후 재사용을 위해 튜브 내부의 오일을 제거하려고 함. 브레이크 클리너로 오일을 제거한 후 브레이크 클리너 자체를 튜브에서 제거하는 방법이 불명확하며, 브레이크 클리너와 오일이 섞이는 것에 대한 우려가 있음.

2009 Honda Accord EX 4기통. 차를 2일간 사용하지 않았고 모든 창문과 썬루프가 닫혀 있었으며 차가 잠겨 있었음. 3일째 다른 차로 집을 나갔을 때 자신의 차 썬루프와 모든 창문이 열려 있음을 발견. 리모컨으로는 창문이나 썬루프를 열 수 없음. 도어도 모두 잠겨 있었음.

2011 VW 투아렉 3.6L V6 가솔린, 주행거리 55,000km. 시속 120km/h 이상에서 심한 스티어링 휠 진동 발생. 시속 120km/h 이하에서는 진동 없음. 휠 얼라인먼트와 휠 밸런싱은 정상.

2013 기아 씨드, 장거리 주행(약 200km) 후 높은 음역대의 윙윙거리는 음성 발생. 정차 시 크게 들리며 주행 중에는 엔진음에 묻힘. 라디오와 에어컨을 끄면 미약하게 들리지만 속도나 RPM에 따라 변하지 않음. 다음날 사라졌다가 다시 장거리 주행 후 재발. 차량 후측에서 발생하며 뒷바퀴 휠 하우징 근처에서 가장 큼.

2005 A4 quattro용 타이어를 구매할 때마다 판매원이 Audi라고 하면 더 비싼 타이어를 권장함. 비싼 타이어가 필수인지 일반 타이어로도 충분한지 확인 필요.

EPS 리콜(소프트웨어 플래시 업데이트) 후 핸들에서 진동 발생. 딜러십에서 30분간 작업 후 발생. 구매 전 제3의 정비소에서 2회 점검했을 때는 없었던 증상.

2005 Citroën C4 가솔린 엔진에 5W-40 오일이 들어있는데 소량의 오일 누유가 있어서 정기적으로 보충하고 있음. 실수로 10W-40 오일을 구입했는데 다른 점도의 오일을 섞어도 되는지 불안함. 두 번째 숫자(40)는 같지만 첫 번째 숫자(5W vs 10W)가 다름.

What a fantastic car! Even on 180,000 miles and as is often the case with a workshop loan car, rather dirty and unloved, it drove brilliantly with no rattles and the 1.6 TDI pulled really well (much stronger and quieter than the 1.5 dCi in my Renault), which was a surprise and it was still averaging 50mpg. 얼터네이터 교환

배터리와 올터네이터 교체 후 약 1주일간 충전 경고등이 빠르게 깜빡임. 1년 후에도 계속 깜빡이는 중. 전기 시스템 전체가 고장날까 봐 걱정됨. Advanced Auto에서 배터리와 올터네이터 충전 상태는 양호하다고 함. 많은 전기장치를 켜면 경고등이 계속 켜져 있다가 다시 깜빡이기 시작하고, 아무것도 안 켜도 깜빡였다가 꺼졌다가 다시 깜빡임.

배기 누출(플렉시블 조인트)이 배출가스 검사 장비에서 어떻게 감지되는지 궁금함. 휘발유 가스 검사는 CO 함량, HC 함량, Lambda(공연비)를 측정함. Lambda 도입 이전에는 과도한 CO 발생 시 공기 누출로 혼합기를 약하게 해서 수치를 조작할 수 있었음. 현재는 약간의 누출도 문제가 될 수 있음.

6기통 비즈니스 클래스 Freightliner HP 펌프에서 펌프 톱니 3개, 구동 기어 톱니 1개가 파손됨. 모터 태그 손실. 이 엔진 작업 경험이 적음. 펌프와 구동 기어의 톱니 파손이 일반적인지 비정상적인지 확인 필요.

콜드 스타트 시에는 엔진이 정상 작동하지만, 날씨가 매우 덥거나 웜 스타트할 때는 리mp 모드로 진입하여 오렌지색 렌치 경고등이 켜지고 최대 가속도가 1/3 수준으로 제한됨. 실수로 2행정 오일 혼합액(20:1) 약 200ml을 만석 휘발유 탱크에 추가했음. EGR 클리너 스프레이로 에어 인렛을 처리하고 브레이크 클리너로 EGR을 세척 시도함.

고속 팬이 속도가 불규칙하게 변하는 소리가 나지만 에어플로우는 같은 상태. 딜러에서 팬을 교체했으나 문제 지속. 4개월 전 알터네이터 교체 후 팬 문제 발생. 디지털 시계가 간헐적으로 1-2초 정도 꺼졌다 켜짐.
