1965년형 Pontiac Bonneville, 4배럴 Carter AFB 캐브레터 장착. 시동 후 따뜻해지면 즉시 꺼짐 증상 반복. 초크가 켜져 있을 때는 잘 달리지만, 워밍업 후 초크가 열리면 시동-꺼짐을 반복. 악셀을 계속 밟고 있으면 정상 작동하고 소리도 좋음. 간헐적으로 1분 정도 유지되기도 함. 캐브레터를 정비소에서 점검받고 재설치했으나 증상 미해결.

열쇠를 꽂고 돌리면 아무 소리도 나지 않지만 배터리, 라디오, 라이트 등은 정상적으로 작동합니다. 그러나 간헐적으로 시동이 첫 번째 시도에 걸리지 않고, 몇 분 기다린 후 시동이 걸립니다.

차량 인테리어를 제거 중 (검정색으로 칠할 예정). M52TuB28 엔진에 M57 플라이휠, PMC 어댑터 플레이트, ZF8HP50 변속기 장착. M52TuB28 시운전 장착. 기린에서 인수한 차량 사진. 구형 M20B20 엔진 제거 후 차량 완전 세척. 전기 시스템 제거 및 대부분의 인테리어 제거. -1990 하네스 제거 및 완전한 -1995 하네스 (에어컨 및 ABS 포함) 설치 예정.

엔진 블록 상단과 측면에서 오일이 새고 있으며, 약 1.5개월마다 1쿼트씩 오일을 보충하고 있음. 지면에는 눈에 띄는 오일 자국이 없음. 2004년식 제3세대 Taurus, Duratec 24V 엔진. 오일팬 나사 부분 가능성 검토 중.

I'm in for the engine all day long, but like others, I'm not all that keen on the colour or the wheels though. But it could be worse though, because it could be electric for me, and I definitely wouldn't want that at all. I was in London over the weekend, and I heard a V12 Rolls Royce start up, and it immediately put a smile on my face for sure. It was subdued of course, but life doesn't get much better than sitting behind a V12 engine in my view.

오일 교환 후 냉시동 시 오일 압력 경고등이 평소보다 오래 켜져 있음 (평소 1초 이내 → 현재 최대 4초). 오일 온도가 올라간 후에는 정상. 오일 레벨과 누유 없음, 추천 규격의 고급 5W30 오일 사용 중.

As title, I've recently acquired a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v project. Car is a Jade Green late model small bumper 16v. I haven't got the original engine but the project came with a choice of two. I've got a 9A 2.0 16v engine from a Corrado and an ABF 2.0 16v engine from a Mk3 Golf. I'm pretty certain I'm going with the ABF engine but that decision is a long way off. Before then the car will need inner and outer sills, floor pans, inner and outer wings, front and rear valances plus all the usual bodywork repairs. EFI 퓨즈가 무작위로 끊어짐. 끊어지면 계속 끊어져서 시동이 안 걸림. 배터리를 분리했다가 다시 연결하고 퓨즈를 교체하면 한동안 정상 작동하다가 다시 끊어짐. 패턴을 찾을 수 없음. 배터리를 분리해야만 해결되는 증상으로 보아 더 깊은 문제가 있을 것으로 추정됨. 정상 작동할 때는 문제없음.

냉각수 보충 중 냉각수 탱크에 오일이 섞여 있는 것을 발견. 정비소에서 헤드개스킷이 아닐 것 같다고 진단 (엔진 과열 없음, 오일에 물 없음, 배기가스에서 연기 없음). 써모스탯 하우징에서 오일이 새는 것이 원인일 가능성이 있다고 설명. 다른 2개 정비소에서는 헤드개스킷 문제라고 주장.

2015 스바루 아웃백에서 에어컨을 최고 풍량으로 설정했을 때 에어컨 벤트에서 미세한 딱딱거리는 음이 발생합니다. 또한 대시 중앙의 왼쪽 벤트에서 오른쪽 벤트보다 훨씬 약한 바람이 분사됩니다. 딜러에서는 딱딱거리는 음은 냉매 순환으로 인한 정상 현상이고 왼쪽 벤트 약풍은 원인을 찾을 수 없다고 했습니다.
