Hey! The key to my 2006 Ford Mondeo wont open the hood for some reason… This is particularly bad due to the battery being dead after not being used for a few months. Anyone have any tips to fix this problem? (If its possible to fix) Additional information would be that the key fob usually works around 40% of the time so i resorted to using the manual key mostly, but now the manual key does not turn in the door either, so i’m pretty much hoping that the key fob will work if i want to use my car. Problem began when I would sometimes have to press the push start button several times to get it to start (no crank), progressively got worse until it wouldn’t start. My 2007 Toyota Camry has a 2.4l engine 4 cylinders and it’s at about 197,000 miles. I’ve been going crazy trying to figure out while the engine is vibrating horribly when at a red light and it’s a lot worse with the ac on. If I open the driver side door on my F-150 while the motor is running the transmission locks in gear and will not let me put it onto park which would allow me to crank it. I can disconnect the battery cables and it will eventually put itself into park and I can crank it. This has been going on for several months. When it first started it would reset in 30 mins or so but now is taking overnight. I’ve not tried it to see if this happens with any other doors bc I don’t want to intentionally make it happen. Multiple system malfunctions lights stay on. Dealer does not not what the issue is. Windshield wiper and signal light also not working.

A 2000 town car limo was build just in tolerance for the 4.6 engine capability. Even at brand new it would overheat if you push it to hard. It is older and less efficient and it over heat in general if you push it. The question would apply to other engines: Can I move the heater cores meant for warming the vehicle to the front of the car to adding extra cooling power for the engine?

Power seat - Whenever vehicle is started or shut off and the seat slides forward of back, the power seat makes an annoying, obnoxious noise… I thought something was stuck in the track but now I think it’s the motor going out. A buddy and I were trying to replace his right front wheel hub, on his 2008 Chevy Impala LTZ. He described the engine size as 3900, I would think that means 3.9 liter, although I didn’t know there is a 3.9, I only know of the 3.8 liter and 3,1 Liter. One of the mounting bolts is so tight that the socket would not keep a grip on the bolt head, no matter how hard we tried to force the socket onto the bolt head. So today battery completely dead, have a jump starter and could get a little revolution but not enough to turn over long enough to start. I paid off my var in June. By the ed of august my cars engine started going bad out of no where. started with oil and coolant mixing into the engine and then transmission started whining. Long story short I had to get both replaced. Oh yea my car only has 56k miles. Can you guys explain or give me any ideas on how this happened?

I have a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It ran and drove great until a couple months ago then the signal wire on the starter shorted out, when the signal wire shorted out it burnt up the starter and since then it’s just been sitting.I have a new starter on it and I’ve wired everything directly up to the battery , so it doesn’t turn over with the key, the problem is that the new starter turned the motor over one time and now all it does is spin and won’t engage. My 07 Impala stopped blowing air so I got a new blower motor. I take the old one out, connect the plug to the new one and nothing. I took a multi meter and connected it’s leads to the plug that goes to the blower motor to see if it’s getting power. As I turned the fan up and down, the meter also went up and down. I’m assuming it’s getting power. Since the meter went up and down along with the fan speed dial, I’m assuming the resistor is working. Hi, I have a 2010 Mazda 6 car. I received a letter for airbag recall. When I dropped my car for service they said it would 1 hr to fix the airbag. Later they called me and said the parts are not available and it would take another 1 month for the parts to arrive. The provided me with an alternative car. They parked my car in an open parking space. When I called after 1 month, they said its an early stage for the recall. They are not sure when the parts will come.
