This is inspirational. I actually did this to a main dealer. Was putting in £20 of coolant every week and eventually traded it in. Now I did mention it was losing coolant when they asked if the car had any problems but they just ignored me. The car was perfect otherwise. A few months later I got angry phone call from someone who they sold the car to - they got my details from the folder of service receipts!My father once had something similar. He had an Escort with a body kit (it was the 90's!) which was rusting quite badly under the kit. He decided to treat himself to a brand new car, so traded the rust bucket in. The dealer was aware of the condition so knocked him down on the part ex and said they would have to get rid of it through the auctions.Instead they gave it a good clean and polish and sold it on. A few months later the new owner calls him saying they bought it and the dealer didn't want to know. They wanted my father to compensate them!
