I shall get a variety of repair materials together - carpet adhesives, velcro etc - decide which one would be best and take care not to rush it, whilst trying not to get hung up that a total cowboy employee thought his course of action was perfectly okay with a customer-of-5-years' car... whilst the same customer was sat only metres away!You may find you need a heat proof glue - I tried some fabric adhesive to fix some door card covering - it held at first but when the sun get on the car it heats up, becomes tacky and unsticks itself.When I eventually got them properly done, the car upholsterer who did them said the temperature in cars gets so hot regular glue doesn't work, it has to be heat proof (what I didn't think to ask at the time was what he actually used!)
